Once again this is an experience that happened to me while working in TOOTING (London) and it's a young black guy. He says that he works with professional athlete and is an avid gym-goer at virgin Atlantic in Wembledon and drives a black Range Rover ( Most probably his parents'). I have been doing this work since year 2009 and my two bad experiences have happened within 2 weeks while working in South London and with 2 black guys so I now understand why many girls even black-girls don't entertain/see black men.

Because I have never had any bad experiences I don't work this way so these two that I have experienced are new to me.

The bad experience that I had with this guy is that he sounded polite and welcoming (so you don't detect any bad behaviour from him when he calls) but failed to pay. I normally take payment upfront but sometimes I like to leave it up to the customer to pay and I always get my money but not this time. This time I got caught up in the conversation and forgot to take payment. During session I mentioned that I wanted payment and that he should pay me before we could continue. He refused, told me that he wasn't gonna pay for this which left me baffled for I have never had to ask for my money this way, he got dressed and stormed out not even having his top on properly.

During the 8,5 years I have worked I have never experienced this behaviour although I have been told. Is this common in South London nowadays? Because it wasn't when I worked here for many years in west Norwood.

Also, I used to talk down about other girls who refused to see black guys when customers came to me asking why but now I understand. Moreover, as a black working girl I like to give everyone a fair chance especially my black brothers but now I will be among the first to count them/you guys out.

If it's not because I am currently caught up in personal issues that are taking a tool on my overall wellbeing, I would pursue this and report him to the police for some sort of theft. I just currently have bigger fish to fry then some idiotic disrespectful BALCK GUY who thinks he is in his rights to come into my space and misbehave. It takes another level of not having self respect and the integrity to preset yourself well and then storm out not even having your top/clothes on properly... I don't understand that mindset of sheer disrespect mainly for yourself. I would imagine that we all care about how we are presented and leave an impression....?
