Jesus. Do you think you'll mention this to the police, too? Obviously not much would come of it, but it might be essential one day for backing up the story of another girl who he DOES beat black and blue?

So glad you got out there in time!  Sadly our internal radars cannot detect iffy guys over the phone all the time.  Mmmh, yeah in an ideal world the police would make a note of this guy as he has the potential to be a violent and dangerous predator.  However, in practice many such tip-offs are overlooked and/or seen too late.  In many cases, when a violent crime or murder occurred, especially towards ladies in our industry, the offender had previously used or threatened violence towards women.  Sadly, there are often still not the resources to monitor or prevent escalation and many of these guys slip through the net. 

This is why warning sites are so very important!  They don?t obviously help against anyone who has not been ?obvious? before but the more we enter serious incidents and help our fellow floozies the more we can help to avoid dangerous situations.  That is why ladies also should show a little restraint in not flooding warning sections too much with one-off timewasters.  Of course, they are a nuisance and annoying but a bit of common sense could often eliminate a great deal of them.  However, it really at times clogs up warning sections and thus causes us to potentially overlook really serious threats!  Sorry if I sound like a grumpy moo but it is a major bugbear of mine when some ladies dilute the function of warning threads with daft and inane and useless warnings.  One lady over on Plink recently placed a totally ineffective warning about some guy who messed her around with a hotel outcall, which could have been easily avoided by merely calling to check if he is actually checked in.  She then hippy drippyly adds that she was more amused and still had a good evening.  FFS then don?t post it in a vital resource!  Sorry rant over ? just glad that Millie got out of this situation unharmed!

Friends of mine have found the police less than sympathic towards WGs... it saddens me!

I am fine    Just sad to read that someone behaved liked towards you because they think they can get away with it.  I must say so that whenever I dealt with the police they have been lovely.  Just read on many occasions when violent crimes were committed that the guy had previous offences and sadly those don't always get linked up to prevent further crimes

Thanks for the encouragement and support... it's swayed my mind a bit about going to the police.

I'm sorry - I don't mean to sound pushy and of course the most important thing here is that you are safe and unharmed. It's a horrible bit of irony that it's the victim who also has to go through the slightly traumatic experience of reporting a crime - risking being ignored, insulted etc - on top of what's already happened.

I don't know, I've half put myself off the police idea now, too! I think probably best to go on the advice of other ladies who have more experience with this sort of thing and/or legal knowledge. I just had a bit of an awful booking earlier today where the guy could only get off by talking through some quite violent fantasies - his behaviour wasn't violent, though, but I was just thinking the whole way through about this thread and where on earth you draw the line with these things. I'm 99% sure he had everything under control and just liked to act out things with prostitutes in very much a pretend way but I don't know. I'm hardly the thought-police!

Sorry for the tangent. Having an odd day! I hope you're doing alright though - can you take a bit of time off to look after yourself? Sometimes necessary after something like this!

Unfortunately, you can never be sure who is a 'one off timewaster'...

They may waste someones time once, so it's a one-off to them, but what if they do it to every WG around? Thats a lot of wasted hours, and frustrated Ladies. Besides, I don't think any timewasters should be allowed to get away with it..and it's just nice to have something on your side which you can use to help feel a little less helpless when you've been so rudely stood up.

I agree the lady you pointed out should have made the right checks, but there may be less experienced girls reading the same forum who have learned from it. 

But I don't think it does any harm to the boards..you can just flick through the subject lines to see which ones are timewasters, and which are more urgent warnings.
