Fake bank transfer scam from Dubai 'Karim'
« on: 19 June 2015, 12:17:38 am »
This guy has contacted me a few times on various different numbers from aw that he uses he is very polite to begin with but as I'm not silly and been in this game too many years and no A messer when I hear one , he always  late in the evening , he starts the conversation off by informing you that he is a rich prince from dubai and that his family are very wealthy and In the Oil industry, I asked him what his family name was and what his name was he proceeded to tell me and I did google it but that could've been anyone he could've googled it him self to make the story more believable, he asked for a over night booking and  a level he insists on a level as I don't do this but just humid him and said that I did he offered me ?5000, I said 5000 would not be enough 10,000 would be sufficient and he said yes straight away I mean really from 5 to 10 in the space of a second and he said yes, I asked how I would receive the money he insist that he will do a bank transfer but it would take 24 hours to reach my bank as the money is coming from a dubai bank he insisted he will show you the confirmation on his phone, well this could be any kind of confirmation on his phone that he could of made up, He wants to  meet you downstairs at the lobby of whatever hotel you choose, when I put it to him that if he was a prince he could get his driver to get hold of cash so could be a straight transfer cash in hand he gets very aggressive and starts calling you names and hangs up this job is deafly not a real job, just thought I'd put this post on here as he story could be very  convincing to a new be

Shannon, could you please post these contact numbers with the last two digits censored that they're in the correct format for the site?

We have a few of these fake transfer stories which may or may not be about the same person, but it's going to be easier to piece things together with a bit more information :).

Got a call today from someone saying he's from Dubai and would like an overnight booking. I told him I don't do this with clients I haven't met before and he offered to pay more. I still said no and told him to call back from an unrestricted number as he was calling from a withheld number. Then he asked me if I could do him a favour and then told me to go fuck myself.

Sounds too similar to not be the same guy.

Without knowing how this man contacted you (I'm assuming it wasn't by phone as you haven't included a number) it's difficult to say, but could it be the same person as in this thread?

I think it's possibly the same guy doing the rounds. I had a call and my mind went straight to these Dubai guy threads.

Rang today asking for an overnight/full day from 2pm.
Made a point of telling me he was from Dubai, that he usually has girls at parties or something fighting for his attention and he wants to spend the day with me (gee thanks).
Said he would offer me 4000 for the duration.

I was like fine, it needs to be cash up front.
He said it'd be a transfer.
I said okay, the money would need to arrive with me before I travel to you.
He said he would transfer while I'm there. I said nope and he said okay and ended the call. :)

Sounds about the right age, didn't get as far as borough he just asked if I am in London.

I've had this man ring me offering 4k for an overnight I was buzzing at first (4x my rate!)  :FF  he talked of being from Dubai, girls from all around the country seeing him and getting with him and getting up to all kinds of craziness. Said that he'd give me 2k more for anal and 2k more for bare back (when I do neither) and I said no way he said that was fine but I'd only recieve the 4K.

He then mentioned it would be via bank transfer and asked for my bank details which finally made me realise it was dodgy. I said I only accept cash, he was persistent and went on for agessss how he'd sent it to many girls and large sums of cash being sent hadn't been questioned by banks (yeah right) as he says that he's a charity and it's a donation and it doesn't get questioned. Not ok giving details to this dodgy guy I said ok send it via PayPal (not my real name plus safer) he said that it can't be done that way  ::)

i was getting fed up with him by now and he could obviously tell so offered to meet me first for 5 mins to show his face then turned it round to me and asked 'actually how do I know I can trust you either we've got to trust eachother right?' So said to meet him for 5 mins and give him a dirty pic I said no, then suggested I meet him and give him ?500 to prove I'm for real I'm like hell no! Then said ok tell me what you'd do and make some sounds so I did with that tiny bit of desperation he'd be rfor real. Never heard of him again.

Number: 074714554**

Remember girls IF IT SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, IT PROBABLY IS :(

He's using this number today - my first call upon arrival in London! I feel like I'm part of a special club.

Even though I knew who he was I played him along a bit and kept insisting it had to be cash and he got mad and started cursing me then hung up.

I know from some of the warnings on here that someone will fall for his ploy eventually.

Unfortunately, I've been a victim of this fraudster 'Karim' . He was so convincing over the phone and when we met. This happened 30th June. My normal overnight rate is 900 but he said he'll transfer 4,500 into my account if I bring ?500 cash with me because he was from dubai, from a wealthy family and didn't deal with cash. So we meet at Waterloo station,he shows me fake confimation that the money has been transfered and I  stupidly give him the cash. We walk to the hotel then he says I should go in first then we meet at the 2nd floor and he never shows up. I reported it to the police who told me to contact action fraud (they're currently investigating ).  The number he called me with which no longer goes through was 074714554**. Wish I saw this thread earlier.  Be careful ladies.

Hi Girls

I had him last night asking for an overnight (I was in Aldgate).   He said his name is Karim and from Dubai.  Said he will pay me ?5,000 for the night.    He would transfer the money into my bank account so would need my bank details.    Apparently the money wouldn't show up in my account as it was coming from Dubai until the next day but he would show me the transfer text once he arrived.

I wasn't happy giving out my details so I asked him to send me an email or put ?50 credit on my phone to prove he was genuine.  Surprise surprise nothing came.

His number is 07709 09****.

Sorry to hear one lady has been duped by this scumbag.   PM me for his full number.
