A man called and asked to book an hour and half. Negotiated my rates and got me to reduce them but not by much.
He told me he was getting new tyres fitted and asked about bank transfer, told him cash only so he said he would stop by the atm.
Arrived early and gave the name of Will. We went through the motions and he said could we call it half hour, but guess what, had no cash and didn't have his bank card (how did he pay for his tyres?). Looked on the phone for his banking app and it said he was logged out and tells me it normally keeps him logged in for two weeks. Now I know should have asked for the paperwork to be sorted up front, but he clearly had no intention of paying.
