I didn't realise this forum exists until recently.
I was assualted at my own home in Norwich. The guy sounded OKish on the phone, I only got suspicious once he got to the area. He said his car wouldn't start when he got to the landmark I told him to stop and call for my address. I was doing my uni work, so I wasn't too bothered if he didn't arrive. I blocked him but then I unblocked him.. And that was the biggest mistake of my life. I called to ask him where he was and he said it's too late. 30mins later he knocked at my door, I didn't hear it because I was upstairs, then he texted : "why aren't you answering?". I went to the door, I opened the door and he had me in my neck lock before I knew it. I couldn't see his face because he had a balaclava on, well, he used a scarf to cover his face and he lost it in my garden. I started screaming and my flatmate came to help me. The attacker escaped. I called the police. After a week, they found a suspect. He pleaded guilty. He said he was at mine to rob me, however my therapist said something else. It turned out that he was my regular client whom I didn't see for a year. He was very cleany, he said that he loved me etc. but ... I would never say he would attack me. I always used to laugh at him what a loser he was when he left. His name is James C, late 30's, white English from Norfolk, short, chubby, skin condition on his face, bold. I have his face photo, details etc. He worked for Anglian Windows. I'm happy to share more if you need. He used to see multiple girls in Norfolk. He's locked up now but he will be out in a few years... His wife is waiting for him (naive, but none of my business) so he will be seeing girls again. Stay away.
Sorry for the long topic, I just thought it would make sense to tell the full story.
