Birmingham - Potential secret filming with a watch.
« on: 06 August 2017, 11:29:44 pm »
I had a client recently who passed my screening perfectly until his arrival at the hotel. He text requesting that I open all the curtains and put all the lights on, stating that he wanted to be able to see me completely and joked that he was a bit blind. Thought it an odd request so cracked the curtains slightly.

When he entered he went to "wash his hands" came back with his watch off and placed it on the desk in a very odd position. Most would just put it on its side, this was standing up with the clock face facing the bed, as though it was on show in the shop. It was a very oversized watch and looked extremely out of place. This was my second red flag.

I picked up the TV remote and turned the music down, then knocked his watch slightly when putting it back down to see if he'd pay any attention to it or try and move it back. His face seemed pretty annoyed and he moved it back. Again another red flag to me.

I didn't confront him about it as I thought, if he's got the gall to film me so openly then I don't want to run the risk that he may turn nasty. So I spent the booking moving to different beds and areas to avoid the watch, to which he kept moving the watch (pretending he was checking the time) or asking to move to the areas the watch was facing. I was sure to have my back to it at all times.

Rather annoying but something to "watch" out for.
