Title: Attempted robbery in DERRY/LONDONDERRY, NORTHERN IRELAND
Post by: VioletteUK on 16 October 2012, 12:40:57 am
OMG, I am still shaking at the moment.  But tonight two hooded and masked young men attempted to force their way into my apartment and rob me, thankfully I was with a client, and seeing as I wasn't on my own, they ran off. I suspect it was a client from earlier, now which one it was is any ones guess, as I have been quite busy for the last week of my tour here. But they were both tall, about 6'1", they were white, but as to accent or any other description, this is unavailable, and they didn't say a word, not even a grunt.  They worked as a team, and when they realised I wasn't alone, they bolted. Still not saying anything as they ran down the stairs. The scary thing about all this is I am in a relatively secure building. Totally unbelievable. Also they broke off the my front door handle and now I have to either explain to the land lord, or find a way to fix it. I can say with an absolute certainty, I doubt I will be back in Ireland, unless I have an armed bodyguard with me! This is too stressful, and it really isn't worth the headache.
