You've definitely dun the right thing by reporting it to the police & on as many forums as you can. I wudn't av thought he would've been sent to prison straight away, but at least the ball's rolling. Let's hope it keeps rolling in the right direction. Thank goodness you had security I shudder to think wot wudve happened to you luvvie.

Keep yr chin up & keep smiling & thank you so much for bringing it to the attention of us girls.

Take care.

Luv & hugs Kate xx

What a terrible thing to have happened to you, from a very nasty piece of work. I hope he gets all he deserves and then some. Good on you for having the strength left, after what he did to you, to have the police deal with him and thank you for letting us all know. I hope you get all the help and support you need. Sending you lots of hugs. x

First post here. I'm in Leeds and I know a lot of girls who work here. I will definitely be passing on details if the bas**rd is out on a tag.

I just wanted to say I've got so much admiration for how strong your being, both in going after him with the police and thinking of other girls. Makes me so angry what the courts decided. He's obviously a danger to other girls and he gets a slap on the wrist!

Hope you are ok babe.

hope your okay, and that he gets totally what he deserves.  Unfortunately I have no faith in the police in Manchester whatsoever heres hoping that Leeds police  look at us ladies differently.  I have an ongoing stalker situation and all the police can say is to leave the industry asap.

Have you been in touch with MASH about this?

Hi, my name is Joan and I work for Genesis.  I have read about what happened to you and wanted to say if there is anything Genesis can do to support you please give me a call on our office number which is on the website www.genesisleeds.org.uk  or email me on joandarby@btconnect.com

I put a post on the site about the work I do for Genesis with women who have been assaulted.  I know this must be a really hard time for you and hope we might be able to help.   As you will see if you look at the website or talk to other women who know about us we are really aware of confidentiality and the need to be discrete.   We also have an 'Ugly Mugs' scheme where we tell women about men who have threatened or assaulted people so they can be aware of them.  Let me know if you want to know any more about us,
best wishes,
Joan

hi everyone, thanks for everybodys posts, i will have some important news to post soon regarding this case and will let you all know. samanthatouring, im really sorry you have found manchester police unhelpful and really hope something gets done as violence and stalking should be taken very seriously and nobody deserves that, getting out of the buisness is not a helpful solution, nailing the bastard would be far more helpful. scum that do that are only brave as they are anonymous, take that away from them and they are cowards, im sure there must be ways of tracing people (or companies who specialise in that) and turning the tables, if there isnt then there should be. xxx

Hey, just wanted to say on the thread (as well as PMs lol) that I'll be cheering you on whenever that court date is babe. Send him down. It's women like you who are helping protect other girls from it happening again, and it's brave.

one thing i have learnt through all this is that im not surprised in the fact alot of girls dont report crimes like this, but a few pointers you all need to know is that when the police say "special measures" can be put into place to stop the media getting your name should be taken as utter boll**** as this is not the case! ONLY a judge can promise that (and very rarely does) and secondly very important sign your statement with your working name (perfectly legal) as the defendant gets access to this information which is unbelievable. also please dont ever be scared to report crimes against us as they are taken seriously and delt with, and if not shout louder lol xx

Glad he got a guilty....... i know what you mean about the name thing as i also went to court when some one robbed the flat where i worked from . The first thing i did at the start of the  trial was to send the judge a hand written note begging him not  to allow the papers to publish my name .....as  my children were taking exams and didn't know what i did and why should their lives be ruined etc . At first no one wanted to give the judge my note but i insisted till it was taken .(The judge sent back one  saying basically  he understands my concern for my family and thanked me for going to court to testify and that it would be fine )

I already knew i had to ask the judge as my friend had already been named and shamed so to speak .
