Did this twice, I took a deposit this time. Thinking he’d cancel again and I’d say tough shit I’m keeping the deposit lol. Wasn’t a large amount however.
He’s maybe 20’s, white. Fairly tall, big guy, Chubby. V short brown hair. Stubble. Seems the jack the lad type. English.
Turns up, giggling the WHOLE TIME he was in the room, tried with some small talk but didn’t work to calm him down. Made me seriously uncomfortable after the first few mins of it.
Small talk failed so I just asked bluntly to get the money done with. He declined... okay, never actually had to deal with this before, asked politely thinking maybe he was joking.
Nope. Declined. Said he wanted to use the bathroom ... I don’t agree to that without having the money first. So I said “sure but let’s do the money side of things first”.
He was standing the side of the room with the bathroom so I couldn’t physically stop him so he went in and locked the door.
Still giggling... in case WHOLE TIME wasn’t taken literally I mean WHOLE TIME ! So nerve wracking in a creepy way.

Anyway long story short after 5/10 mins I started knocking then louder on the door to the bathroom but he wouldn’t come out. As I was seriously considering calling down to reception for assistance. Trying to think up some story to tell them about a wayward guest of the hotel barging into my room IDK !
He emerged, having wasted nearly half hour of my time. And never paid obviously.
