I'd thought I'd check in & give a progress report as it has been a little over 2 years since I ventured out with this project and it has been over a year since I posted.

i am not going to deny it has been a lot harder than I anticipated. There have been a lot of ups and downs but I have learnt a lot and adaptations have been made. However, we are still going strong, building slowly but surely and with the aid of technology have introduced a fab little product that is proving to work really well. We have also expanded our market into other areas which is also going well.

Because here's the thing, safety isn't always about knowing the timewasters, the idiots who want to knock you down on price etc etc.Its about doing everything you can to ensure you are safe throughout the booking.

Yes, the timewasters are irritants, the cheapskates looking for a reduction can be insulting and frustrating. The reality is this, if a client/punter is going to attack you then it's doubtful it will be the timewaster. It will be the chap who stays under the radar, the one you least expect, he'll be clever and if it happens you will be lucky if you get the chance to react and get away unscathed.

the buddy system is fantastic and at the very least if you haven't got that in place, then you NEED to.

In the last 2 years, I have found most clients/punters respect the fact you have someone to report in to. It makes you look professional and that you care about security. It will give them pause to think.

One of the things I have learnt (from another industry sector that also uses our products), that I would like to share, is that when entering into a room with a stranger, you should always let them enter a room first as it will give you time to judge their body language.

So anyway, our most popular product that we recently launched is just amazing. Even though I say so myself.  :D

It's a key fob basically, that has some fantastic functions for keeping yourself safe and here are just a few;

1). With just a touch of a button it allows two way conversation, this feature comes in very handy with a volatile client or one that is messing you around.
2). With just a touch of button it allows us to listen in without the offender knowing and allow us (or a buddy) to react to your situation
3). When needed we can check where you are using GPS
4). If you are knocked out, assuming you have the device on your person, we will know   & can act quickly (you are more likely to be attacked or knocked out at the start of the booking as opposed to mid flow)
5). If you are in danger you can press the fob and it will automatically dial a number of your choice and then up to 3 other people of your choice to alert them you are in danger.

This is a fantastic little product and if nothing else, it lets the punter know someone has your back and will no doubt make them think twice if they have untoward intentions.

Of course we still offer the basic check in service 24/7 and we also have an ever expanding register of punters that can be checked via a simple text message using their address or phone number.

i am sorry that it has taken me so long to report in with a progress report, as I am sure you may have thought we weren't serious, but some ladies on this board can be a little  intimidating, so it's made me think twice about letting you all know what's been happening.

We always think nothing bad ever happens and if it does it will never happen to us but really we never know.

But the truth is, I am proud of what's been achieved and what we offer that sometimes I just want to shout it from the rooftops.

I wish all of you the very best and stay safe and thank you for letting me boast a little lol
