Post by: Dani on 23 August 2014, 02:39:05 pm: Prostitution is legal in turkey if you have a license. Just over 15.000 have a license with over 30.099 waiting for one as they unofficually stopped issuing them in 2011 although you can still apply for one (doesn't make sense)
Licensed brothers are also legal but it is illegal to solicit or procure a booking for someone else

So it would be illegal to just go and work for an agency without a license and just like here an agency owner is breaking the law

Many girls don't bother getting a license but I would not want to be caught breaking the law in a country such as Turkey as their legal system is quite a bit slower than ours and you can be locked up for months before going to court or you can be without work with your passport taken from you until your court date without money to live on.

I love the fact the above agency only quoted the first part of Wikipedia and missed off the large part about licenses.

Always check the laws for your self before going to another country to work and don't blindly believe an agency owner or anyone else
