« on: 05 January 2012, 10:19:50 pm »
Hi, my name is Michael and I am based in North Kent. I am a creative writer, and photographer. If you're still looking for photos please send me your e-mail address and I will send you some sample photos by return.

I also available for creative writing, for profile work/blogs/stories. Most work can be done on the same day and sent to your e-mail. I can supply references for my work if required. I am 51 years of age.

Michael, I've moved your post here because you can only advertise in your own thread, not respond to other peoples, and also because frankly it's a bit odd. What has your age got to do with anything?

Please read the Rules thread at the top of this section for more information on advertising here.

Hello, my name is Michael and I'm a creative writer. I'm available for writing profiles blogs and stories for working escorts. Do you think that there is a need for such a service within the industry?

Michael, I have merged this with your other thread - will you please read the Rules thread at the top of this section and stop posting all over the board?

Maybe there is, maybe there isn't but I don't really see how a man who has never been a prostitute and thus no knowledge of working in the industry fits into things? I'm inclined to say stick with the photos.

Somewhere I used to work once did a great pamphlet of people's stories. Each was in the first person, each was great, and the only problem was that I could tell that they were all written by the same person! What had happened is that they'd taken a bunch of real people's stories and given them to one member of staff to rewrite them a bit and tidy them up. In the process, they'd introduced elements of their own voice each time.

It takes a lot of skill to avoid that. If you can do it, your fortune awaits elsewhere. If you can't, then you'll hurt the reputation of everyone who uses your service.
'The Ian formerly known as SW5'. What they said: "Indispensable", "You are our best resource", and (hours later!) "I'm afraid that you're being made redundant..."

My apologies are getting it wrong, and I appreciate your advice. I have been writing "adult work" profiles, and supplied photos the last 10 years. The reason I submitted my age was to give some indication of maturity, and professionalism in my work.

You speak of "maturity and professionalism", yet you opt to name yourself 'Uncle Tom'. Could you be anymore offensive...?

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought it was creepy. I find it hard to believe that a writer looking for work would just happen across Adultwork during an idle browsing session, especially with it not being particularly Google-friendly.

Michael, I appreciate what you thought you were doing but the people here deal with men of all ages every day of their working lives, and one thing we know all too well is that there is no link whatsover between maturity and date of birth. Have a look on the How Not To Book An Escort thread.
