I understand your requirements ladies and gents so
To make my self clear:
- you will get a CD with the photos all of them taken.
-you will own the copyrights for those pictures
- a photographic release form will be signed on the day of the photo-shoot.
I hope this will satisfy your requirements .

Not only does this directly contradict your previous post, a photographic release (such as the one earlier in the thread ) does not affect copyright ownership.

Photoman from one photographer to another  ;D  its not that hard to assign or handover copyright of the images, you need to think about what your clients want and if they want the copyright is it really such a huge drama?  Would you rather get the job or not.

Please do not quote the Copyright and Design Act as if we have no power to be flexible, especially when assigning copyright is as simple as putting it in writing. 

We are also living in a digital age, 5 images is a bit tragic really, offer more photos and hand over copyright, simple and you could have yourself a nice little earner.

Er, that actually doesn't make any sense - it's not even a sentence? And you still haven't explained why you think a photographic release form transfers copyright ownership when we all know it doesn't.

I think he means obey the law of copyright.  In other words he thinks he cannot assign copyright over as it is against the law which it isn't.  The law is there to protect people from having their images used without permission.  YOU can assign copyright to anyone you choose.
So now he is saying he wants a photo/model release form signed so that he then depending on what it says has permission to use your photos where ever he chooses
But hey at least he is now allowing you to actually have a copy of all the photos you actually paid hi to take.  Very generous of him  NOT

I have a feeling this is just a man who has bought himself a camera and now thinks he is a Tog and we are so uneducated that he can make loads of money from us for little work :FF :FF.

He is getting confused between a Royalty Free License, Copyright and a model release, like i said its easy to assign copyright.  Shit like this pisses me off as a photographer!  :FF

Selfies all the way, someone who took picture of me has posted them all over the internet making money out of them and has even used them on the cover of the porn they are selling. He did this to lots of girls and his excuse was, why do you think I was paying you for a photo shoot, no release was signed and I certainly wouldn't of signed on if he had given me one.

Sorry I guess I meant you should assume it lies with them unless you come to an agreement, I was under the impression the transfer wasn't particularly solid, but I could be wrong!

Its solid and its legally binding. 

You can just transfer/ assign copyright or sell it.  Important to get it all in writing before anyone clicks a shutter.
