Perfect escort agency
« on: 26 July 2008, 08:07:01 pm »
Hi,

I would be very interested to find out what makes the perfect agency from everybody's point of view.

And since there are many people here who, I imagine, have both the experience and, presumably, an opinion on this subject, I just wondered if anyone would care to share their views with me.

From an escort's point of view, what makes a perfect escort agency for you? How do they behave and treat you, not in general terms, but specifically. How do they look after you and protect you? What do they do that is so different from the just so so agencies, or even the bad ones?

And as a client, why would you chose one agency over another? How does the agency you use meet (or fail to meet) your needs? How would you like to be treated (asuming you are not being treated as you would like), and if you are being treated well, what is it that you particularly like?

Please let me know what you think.

Mmmmh, my personal take on an agency is that I would not join it if run/started by a guy.  If there was a Mrs Wiggley it would be a totally different story.  I am still with an agency started and run by a lady who worked as an escort for a few years first.  This means she has first hand experience and can provide her ladies with clear instructions how to deal with clients.  She also build up a great client?le of regulars.

All very well to try and research what makes a good agency re: the guys but unless you slept with men for money yourself - a major jigsaw piece is missing.  I am not saying that all female agency owners are great to work for but I am not sure a man can ever fully appreciate the entire process involved in a booking and back me up accordingly.

And whats more - a new start-up would be an absolute no no for me as inexperience may just result in financial loss for the owners but potentially could cost me my safety and well being!

Yes I understand that and I do agree.  There is a Mrs Wiggly and she is the one who will be running the business and working both with our escorts and clients.  I work in a purley business admin and technical role behind the scenes.  But at the moment, I am the one most involved in seeing that the business set-up and management of it is professionally organised, hence my interest.

I think sleeping with guys for money is a bit more than I had intended doing as due diligence for this business, but I take your point... 8^)

I cannot ever know what that involves unless I did.  I would always imagine it remotely and from a man's perspective.  Which is why I wrote here of course.

Well, we are going to start the business, and I do understand where you are coming from, but I feel I need to say that its not only/just your safety we are discussing here (and remember that the reason I asked this question is to find out some of the specific safety measures we can put in place), so couldn't you perhaps tell me how we can protect *them* even if we are not going to be able to protect *you*?

Well, I appreciate your points and sincere efforts.  But still I reckon many ladies would not wish to be a guinea pig while you try and establish your agency with Mrs Wiggley.  By the way, if Mrs Wiggley is to run the agency - why is she not posting herself?  And if she had been in the business, surely she has a fairly good idea about safety measures and how to run an agency.  If she did not work as an escort herself - then I still have the same misgivings.  The best way, I guess to learn and get some experience - might be for either of you to work at an agency.  Mrs Wiggley should learn the ropes so to speak.  If she and you are not prepared for that than quite frankly I reckon neither of you have any business sending ladies to meet with clients.

Alternatively, perhaps try to buy and/or invest in an established business.

Everything being equal, things tend to find their own level.  They don't improve unless new people and new ideas come along.  Please don't get me wrong.  Fundamentally I agree with you.  Better to have someone who knows the ropes - there's no substitute for experience. But, that's not the only way.  If it were, nothing would every improve and no new and maybe better ideas would ever see the light of day.

They are sincere efforts I assure you.  The escort's security concern is OUR security concern.

Mrs W is out interviewing our potential new escorts, by the way.  I drew the short straw... 8^)

I understand what you are getting at but your somewhat circular logic doesn't hold - i.e. you can't be in the business without experience and in order to gain experience you must first be in the business.  Also, what about the risk that we may find a business who is willing to take as on as newbies but doesn't care about our safety at all?  I think, personally, I'd rather work for our company, with all its possible shortcomings (and our determination to protect and treat our escorts' security as if it were our own), than work for theirs with its obvious problems and risk to their escorts.

I don't agree.  In fact there is another way and that is to be a potential customer see what checks really are made.  Would you or anyone else care to suggest an agency that says they look after and protect their escorts?  I'll sign on as a client and find out what really happens.

Hi and welcome :)
ive not worked for an agency but I do my own security when I go on outcalls (very rarely nowadays ) if someone wanted an outcall to their home then i would check they lived there and got a landline ..no landline..no booking also i would check if the client was booked into the hotel if the booking was an outcall (see main site for security checks)
What I do know is that a friend of mine worked for a agency for a while and discovered that they didnt bother checking the clients no did they bother to check she was ok after one booking she subsiquentley didnt bother to pay them the fee and changed her number and became an indi
so I suppose the moral is...look after your girls and follow through the promises of doing the security checks plus call them when the booking is over to make sure everything is ok
also have regular meetings with them to make sure they are ok doing the job and are happy with the clients they have been given
an unhappy escort can mean bad reviews and that can mean a bad rep for the agency ,also do your homework dont employ anyone who has a drug problem no matter how good they are at the job
im sure someone else will come along with some more advice for you
oh..I almost forgot, have a back up plan if one of the girls doesnt turn up etc.allways have a back up plan for the client
good luck

When I saw this being asked, I thought of the sort of call I'd get at ex-work a couple of times a week: "I want to start a high-class agency and I need a clue" (ok, they wouldn't say the last bit!) and...

As well as the answers given, you need to ask yourself why you want to risk the penalties involved in controlling prostitution for gain, especially as you'll need to spend quite a bit, and everyone and their dog thinks they could run an agency so the stream of competitors will be never-ending. Wherever you are, you'll not be the only one.
'The Ian formerly known as SW5'. What they said: "Indispensable", "You are our best resource", and (hours later!) "I'm afraid that you're being made redundant..."

Female agents can be unbearable.  I once "worked" with a female agent who was really an independent posing as an agent.  An insecure female agent who was formerly an escort can become very competitive with escorts she perceives to be more attractive than she is, at least in my experience.  A female agent who has had bad experiences as an escort can be remarkably unsympathetic when the escort has a problem client.  If she has had a lot of bad experiences, then she may not take seriously the problems their girls may have because their problems may seem like nothing compared to hers.   The flipside is that they can be too friendly with the girls, creating an unprofessional environment.

Female agents can also be very critical of perceived flaws in their escorts that the (mostly) male clients would never even notice.  I have, as a matter of course, been given hell for wearing glasses, which my clients all love.  Being too tall seems to be another favourite, which the clients either like or don't notice.  Their advice for handling clients, although it may not be unreasonable, may be more reflective of their personal approach than any golden rule.  One lady agent advised me to figure out what the clients want and give it to  them as quickly as possible so you can move on to the next booking.  When I challenged her that it might be better to try to draw the booking out, therefore earning more money, she was speechless.

Another thing is that this industry is subject to fashions and trends just like everything else.  I had a lady agent advise me to wear thongs, g-strings etc when seeing clients.  I refused on principle because I personally can't stand them.  The response from clients was amazing because they all seem to be sick of seeing them!  Ditto for toys.  Many clients fear them!

Male agents are not without their problems, but it is very dangerous to assume that a female agent is automatically trustworthy.

Thanks for the welcome and the help.

I guess I am not yet as street savvy as I am going to need to be.  Checking a hotel guest out should be relatively easy by just asking to be put through to Mr XYZ's room, but I have not yet learned how to check out if someone really lives at the landline's address they have given me, so I am am curious about how that would work.

Absolutely.  The way we see it, we are all a team, each with a different role to play, and teams only succeed when they support each other.

Great advice.  Sometimes its the little things that make the real difference.

Yes, I see what you mean.  The question is, how to make that one work?  Don't you think most/some escorts arel not going like being put on standby, i.e. not first choice, and that could cause some bad feeling?

I am pretty sure its not that we don't have a clue, we are trying to make sure our ideas are correct before putting them into practise.  So far, nothing new or startling has come up that has surprised us.

I would imagine that most of the people who tell you "high class" haven't got clue one as to what that really means or how to go about it.  Which would explain why almost every agency site you see is anything but "high class".  But hey, each to his own.

I take your point about the risks, but we think they are manageable.  And in all the businesses Mrs W and I have started, we have never been short of competition.  The reason we have survived and prospered so far is that we are fast learners and reasonably intelligent individuals who believe in doing things the right way, or not at all.
