Hi VS, thanks for explaining. I'm just wondering if the Yoti instant selfie thing is going to be standard procedure, because AW have never asked for this.

Also, generally to anyone, if we have to ID due to the Online Safety Act, does that mean that punters also have to verify does anyone know? I wouldn't have thought so but I'm not sure if the OSA is now asking for this?

I don’t think clients need to verify. It’ll be the same as AW, where they contact us via mobile when our number is displayed.

I doubt we’d get business from any online advertising platform if punters had to verify.

The most important question here is what information does Yoti share back to vivastreet? And who does Yoti share information with? Any data breeches and all our information gets leaked. It’s not great from a user privacy standpoint.

Are we allowed to put our AW site as a link on VS or does it have to be our personal website?

Do any of you do a package deal with Viva street? With an agent. She had just kindly informed me about a huge increase from next week. Told her how Vivastreet are getting greedier.  She replied “Such is the nature of capitalism”
I'm glad I got all the Cynthia Payne books before the prices rocked to sky high.

Hi all,

We understand that data security and privacy are top concerns when it comes to ID verification, so we want to provide some clarity on how Yoti handles and protects your information.

How does Yoti store and protect your data?
- Yoti is a trusted third-party verification provider that uses advanced encryption to ensure your personal details remain secure.
- Your personal data is not stored on Vivastreet’s servers—it remains with Yoti, where it is safeguarded using strong encryption and advanced security protocols.
- Only the minimum necessary information is used to verify your identity and age.

Who does Yoti share your data with?
- Yoti does not sell or share your data with advertisers, clients, or external companies.

Why is this important?
- Protects your privacy – Your ID & personal details are not visible to anyone on the platform.
- Ensures security – Yoti follows strict data protection protocols to keep your information safe.
- Gives you control – You decide when and how your information is used.

We hope this reassures you about the security of Yoti’s verification process. If you have any further questions, our Customer Service team is available from 8 AM – 9 PM (Mon–Fri) and 10 AM – 6 PM (Sat & Sun).

Alternatively, feel free to email us at saafe@vivastreet.com for further clarification.

Warm regards,
The Vivastreet Team

I was thinking of doing a package but it sounds like they are taking the piss!

A ‘HUGE’ increase needs to be explained on here by VS if they want us to advertise. I have already noticed an increase from £6.99 to £12.99 for a basic posting.

Please answer, VS.

I tend to do VIP and they want an extra 23 pounds a week for that from next week. :-( I have spent so much money with them over the years and really miffed at this. Why are we treated differently to people selling cars ffs?

Over The Hill, I shan't be advertising with them again. I think it's the 10th of March we need to verify by but if the prices go up sooner then I'll stop then. The fees are way higher than average. Even AW charge far less than VS.

£23 a week. FFS! That’s daylight robbery, especially as I don’t get loads of clients from it (not sure about you?)

That’s truly a ridiculously large increase.

Yea, AW are cunts but they don’t rob us blind!

I’d like VS to explain themselves.

I agree, K.

Let’s see what VS have to say for themselves.

They were on here earlier and responded to somebody else about the verification but ignored me.

£14.99 for a basic weekly ad, currently.
