Vivastreet need to come on this forum and explain as I called customer service they had no clue what they are talking about kept on saying will raise the issue and it is due to update technical fault.

Got guys texting me asking if I'm around. I send postcode and they reply, Ohhhh I thought you were in Hammersmith. I say oh so you found me on VS then because they have messed the search up. I told them to search on AW because VS are going down the pan.

It's interesting how many say they found me on VS, I've not advertised on VS for perhaps 3 years. When I say this the enquirer remembers the actual site they found me on (not VS).

Does anyone know if this issue has been fixed?

VS is making me feel physically sick with stress. I just put a basic advert on for the week but it's all changed. You put your area (town) into your profile but no it won't let you do it that way; you get a drop down menu of a postcode area to click. I do that. Pay for the advert and get confirmation email. I then look for my advert by going into their search area but I cannot put the town, I have to put a postcode. I do this and I'm not showing. I go to Google and put in "escorts Viva Street *town*". What then comes up are not links to towns but links to postcodes. I go into the URL and take off the postcode and try to add the postcode I'm advertising but it reverts back to an url ending in GB - so escorts in the UK, fucking fabulous. I have been pulling my hair out and am so upset by all of this.

So if you put Viva Street escorts Yeovil (I'm not there, just as an example) into Google, you get a link taking you to a postcode in Yeovil.
Same with Wellingborough. So if any of you are quiet on VS then that may be why. Some towns are ok but others are not.

Then if you go to the Yeovil link from Google and try to put just "Yeovil" into VS's search, you can't do it; you get a drop down menu with different postcodes. This isn't good cos most guys want to search by the whole town not a flipping small area.

This sounds like my experience in my location/county for years, but is now affecting other areas.

Oh, I thought it was a new thing cos they have started to change the locations code. Not had one call from VS today but seen three guys from AW.

I think it is a new thing for most, but my location was always a problem even when I moved - I couldn't show up in the main large town had to advertise as being in a village  to be found or a completely different post code - which then was a put off for some.

Sounds like the database/location search is just getting worse.
