My cynical head says that agencies bring in much more money for VS than us indies, so expect to see the "rules" being applied to us, but not the potentially trafficked women where they might do good.

Reason 2: plausible deniability. That's the route we used when I worked at a local advertising paper, back in the day

It is not our job to ensure that Viva street applies the rules to all posters. We are not the Vivastreet police to ring up customer service which by the way is not free to be telling you many adverts are pornographic.
You should sort this out yourself train your staff to ensure they take down adverts that have explicit images on their advert.

To be fair, not even Amazon catch 3rd party sellers not abiding by the rules. I don't think every single advert can be checked and rechecked. I see porno shots on AW quite often and I don't think they are allowed those on the main photo.

The reason the people here have always been given as to why sex workers have to pay extortionate rates for Vivastreet advertising (particularly if they use the extra features) compared with other advertisers who pay nothing is precisely because of the 'extra moderation' involved in dealing with the ads. That means it's entirely reasonable for posters to expect that every single ad is thoroughly and properly checked, since they're paying a premium for the moderators to do it.

Adultwork bans public porno pics only if you've ticked the box to say you won't post them, not if you haven't.

Several of my clients have said the pics on many VS ads have been stolen from other websites across the web, meaning when they rock up to a meet the girl they're faced with isn't the one in the ad pics. C'mon VS, you only need to use Yandex or TinEye image search to check whether pics are genuine. Makes it tougher for those of us who wouldn't dream of deceiving potential clients with fake pics.
