Hello @Braziliana,
Our team will be in touch with you...
My reply of this morning from Mr James Whelan:***
Good morning,
How are you? I hope all is well and you had a great start to the week.
I noticed you had an issue regarding the restoration of expired adverts. I've looked into the account and have seen that the last renewed advert expired in March 2020.
Non renewed adverts older than 90 days unfortunately I am unable to restore. The best thing I can recommend to do is to create a new advert. As a goodwill I am happy to add on an extra option complimentary as I know this can be frustrating.
I saw you previously dealt with one of our sales agents a while ago regarding package deals, is this something that you would be keen on taking again?
If you need anything at all please do let me know.
Kind regards,
***
My reply of a few minutes ago to Mr Whelan (with
key points, as I see them, in
bold):
***
Who deleted my adverts in the first place? Why did she or he do so?Why did she or he not give me any advance notification? In case this has something to do with my not having used my adverts for a period, why was I, as I say, not given any forewarning that this would lead to the deletion of my adverts?
If the hypothesis presented in 4 is correct, when was this rule introduced? (I had had numerous unused adverts in my account for years, for your information)
I have not used any of my former adverts since March because of the pandemic. During lockdown, I saw that escort adverts were subject to a level of censoring from VS anyway. Similarly, I believe there was a message on the VS site admonishing the public to follow lockdown rules. These involved not making any avoidable physical contact with people outside of their household. To me, this precludes the practise of having physical bookings with escorts.
This is to pre-empt the citation of the pandemic as the explanation for the deletion of all my adverts (which, at the time of their deletion, were, in any case, all inactive).
Similarly, none of my escort friends have, as far as I am aware, had each and every one of their VS adverts suddenly and inexplicably deleted.
What is the point of my creating any new adverts since the person who deleted my former adverts, or any other VS employee (I believe), could just arbitrarily delete them again?Do I want an account manager for the accessing of package deals? Only on the following conditions:
I am compensated by the amount of £12.99 for each of my deleted adverts. I tour the whole country and had around 30 adverts, so this makes £389.70. This should be returned to my debit card.
The account manager works the same hours as me so that she or he is on hand to provide me with any advertising that I may wish to purchase at any time during my working hours.
This will save me being dropped by my account manager for buying advertising autonomously on a weekend or on a public holiday when the account manager isn't at work (because, since she or he will be working the same hours as me, she or he
will be at work). This, you understand, is why, in October 2016, after less than a month, if memory serves, my previous account manager dropped me. She claimed to have made me aware, before I accepted her management, that having her as my manager precluded me from 'self-service' with advertising. Yet if she actually had done so, I would never have accepted having a manager in the first place.
The VS staff member who deleted my account is immediately sacked and replaced with an intelligent and respectful individual.
You take away the cropping restriction on photos. I have always found that pointlessly restrictive and I feel that it has spoilt most, if not all, of my photos. (I started advertising with VS before cropping was - suddenly, inexplicably, and, as far as I am concerned, pointlessly - introduced).
You provide me with a contract, presented in simple language, in which you agree to refrain from interfering with my account in any way without a) showing me irrefutable evidence that you are carrying out whatever actions you plan to carry out in my account in the accounts of all other advertisers who meet the criteria for whatever actions you plan to carry out b) giving me a minimum of 7 days notice for any actions that you plan to carry out in my accountc) showing me that you are prepared NOT to carry out whatever actions you plan to carry out in my account if I offer you compelling reasons not to.
One such example would be not clearing my whole account in a sudden and unexpected way without giving me either notice or an explanation for that.

If you are thinking "written like a hooker who has cancelled today's tour and now has too much time on her hands," you might just be on to something...
