What does that mean ? Publiction extenstion !!!

It means that you dont have to pay to extend your advert once the 7 days have passed

If there was no Locdown I would have advert up.

If there was no lockdown they wouldnt be offering free extensions lmao
Slow money is better then no money

Vivastreet management- In the light of Ebay and Amazon's actions on profiteering from people's fear and misery, do you feel it's ethically sound to allow your advertisers to sell disposable face masks at vastly inflated prices?

Hello @Saltysweet,

Thank you for the message. Unfortunately the current situation has provided an opportunity for malicious individuals to take advantage of people's vulnerability. Vivastreet continues to take the necessary measure to minimise such cases on our platform. We have updated our moderation system to deal with such fraudulent content, an example being advertisements offering face masks or testing kits, however the moderation system isn't perfect. We have the 'Report the Ad' function by each advert in order to raise alerts for such cases, so don't hesitate to use this option. Our team is working 24/7 as quickly as possible in order to reduce and remove these adverts.

I got an email a couple of weeks ago to say they aren't charging to have our ads up. So we aren't paying for them now they are blurred. Our numbers are still visible.

Viva's got this £1 charge popup for chat. I haven't worked out how they work it as can't figure where it's explained. Anyone know what that's about?

Hello,

Hope you are all keeping safe during this difficult period. In light of the government lockdown measures put in place, the service information on adverts has been made temporarily unavailable during the COVID-19 lockdown.

We have added the option to offer webcam sessions and phone chat sessions. To set this up, if you login to your Vivastreet account, there is a banner at the top of your 'My Ads' tab and a new tab that says 'My Cam Dashboard'. You will need an account to start camming / offering phone chat services.

If you are having difficulties setting up an account, our customer service team is available via the contact details in our signature below.

Thanks VS. I'm interested to see when escort sites lift their restrictions. I wonder if BoJo will announce a date when sex workers can get back in the saddle, or if escort website restrictions will be lifted at the oranizations' discretion such as when hairdressers are allowed to work again etc.

Logged in to my account, clicked on the cam option 'doesn't recognise user' , cannot see any option to set up a cam account. Tried cam dashboard as well as the banner which invites me to get set to.

Many thanks,

Which is what I did around the time I posted following the instructions in your post, it would seem 5.30pm is too late for your phone line so having tried that unsuccessfully I sent an email. Been awaiting a reponse ever since.

Hello @Mirror,

Thank you for the reply. Our customer service team will get in touch with you today.

Many thanks,

Ok well clear as mud, I logged in last night reinstated advert changing wording to explain no in-person meets.

This morning I was sent an email telling me to log in, then follow instructions to set up camming. Next minute I receive an email telling me my ad has been deleted more or less 'goodbye'. I phoned your number the person I spoke to explained that the webcam facility/account takes 3-4 working days to set up, that they will be sent my details, I was told to phone back on Monday to ask for the camming account to go live.

I asked for a refund of the payment for the ad placed last night, the person advised 5-7 working days for refund. Said something about replacing the ad on Monday once the camming account is activated.

As a long term advertiser doesn't sound very straight forward and so far nothing like the instructions in last night's post, or the email response from customer support.

Feeling a bit lost, also have a suspicion this has been set up quickly and procedure isn't established yet?
