Exactly. This is why I think VivaStreet's campaigning marketing is all bollocks. They say they don't want to assist trafficking, but they'll take any old pimp's money.

As demonstrated in another thread not too long ago, bloke advertising for women to 'work'.

I won’t advertise on there for this very reason.  Your ad gets lost in a see of real (and fake) ads unless you pay through the nose.  When you do that you are even more deluged by TWs.  I just found it way too stressful answering to idiots all day with maybe one client converting, if that.

Yes MB, I agree! I keep hearing from other girls the magic number '1' client gained from Vistastreet for a horrible day's work on the phone.
And it happened to me......s p o o k y  or what :o

I agree with what girls have said for ages, Vivastreet seems 99.9% a platform for pimped girls and brothels.
Vivastreet seems a rich source of leads should the police be looking to target pimping and associated activities.
Vivastreet as an organisation 'seems complicit' in the promotion of pimping which is an illegal activity.

Given the above, I object to Vivastreet being in partnership with UM.
Easy for me to say...as UM can't function without sponsors.
In contrast, I am 100% happy that the police is an UM sponsor, that is appropriate.

Vivastreet attracts a hardcore of disturbing OCD, bullying male readers with a lot of time on their hands. In a way that's a good thing as it siphons off the dregs so we don't have to suffer them.

Personally I don't think it is a good platform for independent girls. Putting yourself on Vivastreet is like throwing a baby goat to the lions.

Any good experiences ladies?

It's probably been pointed out by other members...I also find it ironic that Vivastreet, the host for so many dubious 'pimp-like' ads have met with officials from the Home Office to discuss our industry and 'how to prevent and disrupt sex-trafficking enabled via online platforms.' Funny old world!

Yes there are a lot of timewasters, but the bookings I do get are great. These guys are just relieved to discover I'm genuine.

I had a guy book me yesterday because I linked my website: it made it obvious that I'm truly independent.

Because I use my phone to do most stuff I can’t actually link to my website on it so I just send them an auto text with my website link on it
I agree that a lot of vs clients are lovely sort of old school clients if you know what I mean

I wouldn’t be without Viva. I get about 50% of my income from them and in some places 90% and they’ve been a godsend when I lost my AW profile.
I'm glad I got all the Cynthia Payne books before the prices rocked to sky high.

I get a few bookings a week from it and clients are always lovely.

You've just got to screen like you do with AW.

I believe it has helped grow my business however I have not used it for a while and still busy, I had noticed if I placed an advert bookings from regulars would suddenly come in - hence being brave and not renewing.

Aside from their usual issues.

I've been suspended from Adultwork and forced to rely on Vivastreet for the past two weeks.

My takings weren't quite as good as I would hope for with Adultwork, but they weren't terrible.

Over 11 days, I made £3500 from Vivastreet alone (and another couple hundred from Adultzone.)

I needed to feature my profile and multirepost (plus I put the link to my website) so that was £126 x 2 weeks.

It's definitely worth it - but it takes a different approach. They're a different sort of punter. They're more naive and need more guidance and patience. But I can tell you that 95% of the clients I met were completely lovely. They're just thrilled you're genuine. They're not going to be running off and writing reviews of you on forums or anything.

There were a couple of turds, but no worse than you'd get with Adultwork.

Payment methods worry me. VIVA.
I wasn't sure about the layout.
Unless you feature, you get lost in brothel ads.
No independent section (?)
Shame Friday Ad does not run all across England.  It seems to stop atManchester.
Further up, it's nowhere.

I get loads of lovely clients from Viva. It's one of my main sources of income.
These days there are no Prince Charmings. A girl just has to be her own hero

If Vivastreet were to get rid of the brothels and agencies they could gain more respect and be the best. The brothels and agencies have an unfair advantage with the multi reposting because if an independent is in a one hour booking she can’t do it but if a lady has a pimp they will be clicking the 15 minute repost for them.

Could someone approach Friday Ad (FA) to set up online focus group, please?   :-X
Why "England" ends at Manchester on FA?   :FF
I doubt they would need an online focus group. . . . ?

As for VIVA, England ends at Preston or Leeds.  *Rolls eyes* . . .
VIVA:
Is this something to do with "anti-massage" Politics in these areas beyond Manchester/Yorkshire?
In other words, you feel that politicians in these areas and their police force would not want these massage adverts to be running?

All those airbrushed photos of "barbie dolls" do seem to dominate massage ads on VIVA.
I will look again to see if that's still the case.

I doubt VIVA would ever stop running adverts on brothels for mega profits.
It's a business after all.

I don't see the point in moaning over brothels and agencies. It's not that hard to repost between bookings. And some girls prefer to work that way - I used to work in a brothel and it was ace.

You just have to stand out - which isn't hard, really. They're all either impossibly airbrushed or they have weird profiles full of bad grammar that make them look dodgy. Don't look dodgy - look like a real person. I'm old and flat-chested and I get plenty of calls. They clients say that they knew I was genuine.
