They shouldn't be taking money off pimps full stop. Escort agencies are illegal operations so I hope VS are truly getting their act together in this regard as they claim to be

Well they are illegal if they are selling the woman for sex which basically they all are but legally you can own an escort agency if you do not sell them on sex but yet to see a genuine one that does although there have been some over the years that said they are a non sexual agency but i think they were all scam ones as they wanted big joining fees pretending they had jobs for the victims.

I am actually glad a lot of the local papers have lost business since the internet is more popular. They used to charge 3 times the amount for any adult advert over anyone else but make you sign an agreement no.sex is being offered. Total hypocrites if anything they should be getting done for discrimination or anything else as they used to.completely take advantage of sex workers.

Yeah well If Sesta /Fosta laws get in the Uk the papers might be one of the few options left
Back to the stone ages lol
Escort who have never worked from the papers only the internet would probably shrivel up and die
If they think AW punters are bacthe newspaper clients are a league of their own 😂

Well if they don't they only have themselves to blame If England follows France and removed all the adult advertising
Even worse if England follows the Sesta /Fosta laws and make sites liable for anyone being trafficked on them
If they want to lose millions of pounds of revenue which probably keeps the site in business then more fool them. If they had any sense they would be lobbying supporting escorts against these  laws  but nope what do they do they put up the prices 😂

Yep newspaper clients a lot of timewasters as no pics like the internet. But if they get rid of internet sites surely the papers would have to go too. Prostitution been around years and never been illegal for indies so not sure i can see this happening. Trafficking is such a small area of the sex industry but you would think it is 90 % of it the way the media portray it.

But what could happen they could bring in a law where only the person doing the sex work can advertise and no third parties they already shot themselves in the foot by putting sexual services up on there adverts that you can tick so if they take ads from pimps and there ticking services that is blatant pimping and viva are earning money from that way also but the lical papers always covered themselves by taking escort or massage ads but no sexual activity was allowed to be spoke about or you had to sign a document saying no sex was offered just to keep them legally protected.

Viva are taking ads off pimps knowingly as the sex check lists are on there this is them copying adultwork. If the police really really wanted to they could hold them accountable for that side of it but not really worth it to be fair.

I was shocked when i realised viva put those sex services up on there adverts and still took pimps adverts.

Well I'm pissed off. My ad wasn't published when on tour. I thought I was quieter than normal. I usually gt at least 2 bookings a week from vivastreet. My ad says not published yet they still take £15 something from my card !

So sent them an email and said I want a refund and will do a chargeback if I don't here anything.

Just be careful they not doing it to other people! As well as losing £15 something for a ad that wasn't published (same photos/ wording as other ads that were published fine) I also lost work so more than £15 lost!

They have stated they no longer offer a change of location. You have to delete your old ad and buy a new one.

You have to delete your old ad...
You don't have to delete an advert.  You can just de-activate it so that it is still intact for future use.  Also, if you re-activate it within its 7-day run, you are able to use any remaining run-time without re-paying.

Oh wow ad is literally a day old and I only got time wasters, paying full price for another ad when I didn't even get any return for the first one is something I am definitely not doing.

They can keep the ad, they might end up making more money if they were more flexible with price/length of ads( 1,3,7, monthly ads) as I and possibly others who aren't available 5-7 days a week would use them more frequently, instead of trying to drum business with their buy 1 get 1 free campaigns they keep sending out.

Not sure when I'll next be available in the same location but I'll try deactivating it now to see what happens.

Hello MissJazz!

The option may no longer be available on the website but we can still offer it to customers who tour around the country.

If you deactivate it stays and you can also reactivate it within the 7 days
It’s also stays on the account so you don’t need to keep making new adverts for the same area
