The following are prohibited to be advertised with specific reference to the Escorts and Massages category:

Offering services that give a sense of prostitution, human trafficking or any other type of illegal sex work.

Vivastreet, you need to clearly explain - in detail and with specific examples - exactly which forms of 'illegal' sex work you think are being offered and which you are referring to in your terms and conditions.

None of our members are breaking the law and they/I want to know why you seem to believe they are; this is an entirely reasonable question and you are going to answer it.

Yes I agree, the guidelines good be clearer! I'll speak to our business team to see how we can make things a little more transparent. Thanks for the feedback :)

R.e the illegal activity aspect, we are not accusing any members of this at all, but as a business we need to make clear that this type of activity we do not want on our site.

Thanks,
Sara

Ive been complaining about this for months, even sent very long lengthy emails to VS requesting for your T&C to be changed and more clear cut. I can only hope that a change does happen. We pay good money to advertise on your site; all we want is for your T&C to be clearer so we have a point of reference regarding what we can and cant do!

Then why have you mentioned prostitution - which is legal - at all?

And why are you encouraging agencies to advertise with you when you know fine well that they are acting illegally (the law in question would be "Controlling prostitution for gain" - Sexual Offences Act 2003 (section 53) for your reference.)

Indeed, massively hypocritical and/or ignorant.

You'd better ban agencies and anyone who works at the same premises as someone else.

Quite you are willing to profit from us but can still think its ok to say 'this type of activity we do not want on our site'

Maybe its to do with legal palava but I still find the openly hypocritical attitude disgusting and won't ever be using your site again.  And yes I have used it in the past.

Do you have your rate written in the details? VS actually told us to do that quite a long time ago. Since the recent changes it will now stop publication.

Mine's gone live however some of the content (media) has been in moderation since at least 6pm last night.

I've sent them an email and used their web form.

Take it out and try it. I've not had a reply, if it's left all weekend that will be interesting. They already owe me a free week, which I hadn't bothered to claim yet.

It's because they have a new system.
I wasted 2 hours this morning when suddenly 3 of my 5 pictures (lingerie and stockings so no nudity) got rejected.
The new system deals with our adverts now. They no longer moderate our adverts. The system does it. And they can no longer go into our adverts look into pictures or texts. Or at least it's what I was told by 3 different people.

The new system must have been expensive as I paid almost double for the option I use...

Whereas once I deleted the rate (which they advised us to write in months ago), the new system accepted mine with previous photos, write up etc.

The only thing which took a while to sort out was a video I uploaded, which was exactly the same as last time, and had exactly the same issue - which was that it wasn't recognised. It did however appear eventually on my ad.

Only thing left for them to do is recognise my town, which doesn't exist according to their database.
