How do you email Vivastreet on a Sunday please? X

Not sure I understand? I guess they might not reply until Monday though, or do they claim 24/7 client support?

Yes just email, if they reply they reply. My experience is they are mostly 'office hours' up until 7 or 8pm on weekdays.

You'll get their annoying autoreply. They do moderate our adverts on Sundays but I'm not sure they deal with emails. I had a huge problem 3 weeks ago on a Sunday, their phone line is off so I spent my day sending emails and getting their autoreply...:(

My advert was automatically renewed! I definitely didn't tick any box asking for that. I only work a week at a time, then take time off so the advert is useless (especially as I tour and won't be returing to that town anytime soon.)

It was only ?9.99 but I'm annoyed. I deleted the advert (I used to keep them and repost them if I revisited an area) so it's no longer live. Then I went through and checked out what happens when you place an advert - thinking perhaps there was a box to tick if you did NOT want to renew it (sort of like their sneaky "protect your phone number" option.) No, it's not an opt-out thing. That said, the final payment page where one ticks that box is new. I don't know what it looked like when I posted the advert and paid two weeks ago.

Everyone should be careful that they haven't ticked that box!

The same happened to me this week, I never auto renew, perhaps I accidentally turned it on I don't know. I've had to add the ?2.99 website link to the renewal of course, gives me better chance someone will read it.

I use VS when I don't have many advance bookings, this week I'm already just about booked up in advance, so don't need it.

Wow I'm so glad I read this thread! I was just about to post an advert with them but there is no way I am paying all that money for a very expensive ad, just for them to advertise someone else's service on the space that I would be paying for. I get enough timewasters and perverts as it is and this looks like it would increase those tenfold. It's a shame as vivastreet dominate the google rankings in my area but there's no way I will do business with them unless they change things.

Does anyone get much business from them anyway? Or is it just more hassle than it's worth?

I had a free bells and whistles offer off them for a month but it was a nightmare my phone rang off the hook but I didn't come across one decent punter from it, it just tied up my phone and pissed me off with the amount of idiots calling me...never again. My friend used to do well from it years ago but has since refused to use them after they raised their price from the flat ?40 a month they used to charge to god knows how much now. So my experience is I'd never use them but I guess it must work for some.

Thank you Helen, I've had a long run of timewasters lately and it's left me in quite a crisis financially. I was hoping that vivastreet might be the answer but if it's only going to increase these kind of calls then I would rather not for my own sanity. I've had a look at the profiles and it doesn't seem to list the specific services and I am unable to find the specific breakdown of costs but know that they are significantly high. Back to the drawing board it is then.  :FF

With their recent actions such as removing the ability to change postcode, I think Viva are throwing their business towards agencies rather than indies.

I have a friend who does very well with Viva (although she also finds them frustrating beyond belief to work with) however she works late nights/small hours and from my experience advertising with them, that was when my phone rang. I only work days and early evenings so it's definitely not for me.

Their latest trick is to cover the screen with an advert for a Sugarbabies (no Escorts allowed) website.

Unbelievable and completely disrespectful to us as paying advertisers.

@Leicesterlass The prices vary depending on the region and category you will publish in, therefore, if you want to find the right price for your ad all you have to do is select "Post an ad" at the top of the page and fill in the category, postcode and type of customer ("You are" line). At the bottom of the page you will see the price for the standard advert and the panel with the option prices. I hope this has been helpful.

Am trying to change my location and it's just saying bad gateway. Have emailed and nobody is replying. Is anybody else having issues today? It's so annoying when a problem happens at the weekend and you can't call.
I'm glad I got all the Cynthia Payne books before the prices rocked to sky high.

I updated my ad on viva today paying for the monthly package. I paid ?350 and where the heck is my multi repost. This is horrendous you would think that they would get it right. So where is my compensation?.

Viva made the error I didn't all viva got was my hard earned cash. I stuck to my side of the deal.

Ill be phoning Kate tomorrow to sort this out because I am not going to let this rest.

This is so out of order what are they playing at?.
