Hi VS. Received an email from you saying my ad has expired and to renew. It's come up with the card and Safepay options - does this mean you're charging again?

Thankyou.

Yes they announced charging started 1st June a few posts back, sent some emails to some advertisers but not all - there's a 25% discount available at the moment.

I received the expiry and renew email every week throughout their 'free renewal' period  ::) >:(, I thought it was normal (and that was the response I received from their team.

Have now received a very full apology from them, and 2 weeks advert credit which I will use after the offer period  - just wish I hadn't had to go through all of the time and expense (and a bit of ranting) in first place but very pleased they finally took responsibility.

Ok thanks, Mirror. I have had the free renewal since lockdown. Missed the bit about the 1st of June though so thanks for that.

By the way noticed that all 'Escort' services are now visible having been blurred out for previous weeks, and their notices regards not meeting in-person have disappeared. I had carried on mentioning these to enquirers, feel a bit of a prat that I did but I can't keep constantly monitoring VS on a daily basis although I do log in etc for camming. At least it might have carried the message on a little longer.

Hello all,

Hope you are all doing well.

@Mirror, the service information on adverts is still temporarily unavailable.

@EnglishAmy40 up until June 14th there is a 25% discount on posting fees.

@Regieeee thanks for the message. The prices vary based on the region you are posting in. If you create an advert, select your postcode and fill in the title, description and details you'll see the prices for the posting fee and upgrade prices for your area.

Vivastreet team.

Hello,

Hope you are doing well. We are continuing to monitor the situation and will keep you informed as to when we intend to adjust the rules to allow adverts for in-person services again.

The notice about offering non contact services is still up.

Yet there are countless ads explicitly offering meetings.

So which is it?

I certainly don’t want to risk placing an ad about escort services with this confusion.

I keep wondering how to alter mine whilst keeping within VS rules, so far still using it to drive online services custom - but do want to start mentioning Escort bookings.

I just looked at escorts in my area mostly they are blatantly offering meets.

I was pulled for mentioning the word massage yet when I flagged up others in my area who were offering a lot more, nothing was done.
I'm glad I got all the Cynthia Payne books before the prices rocked to sky high.

Hello all,

Hope you are all doing well  :)

@TheLastTime thanks for the message.  Adverts indicating face-to-face services will be disabled. We have added the option to offer webcam and phone chat sessions and you can advertise online services on your advert.

I’m sorry but your site is a farce at the moment. You have the warning up about non contact services only. You have blurred out the menus of prices and services.

Yet there are endless adverts with text explicitly offering meets. Lots of Agency but Independent too.

As I mentioned in the coronavirus thread, I will not be bothering with Vivastreet until you change your rules.
I have used Vivastreet for a decade now, week in, week out and this is the only time I have completely given up on it (much as I 'miss' the delightful array of wannabe delusional punters each day on there brings  :P It has also given me some lovely long term regulars too)

Can't you post a 'disclaimer' like Adultwork have done throughout?

What specifically is your concern with such ads, VS? Advertising in and of itself is not illegal, and you can't be that concerned about the people who are placing the ads breaking the law or your site wouldn't be full of agency listings?
