I'm only willing to pay for a directory that is well-known, easily found on Google, and brings decent quality clients.

I am sorry but how much? You are joking of course as only a fool would pay that sort of money for a directory that no one has heard of and no one uses
To get men to use it you will need a lot of women advertising but women won't pay for advertising on a site men don't use so it's common sense to offer free advertising until the site becomes popular

?200 per month is too much, considering that you are new and unestablished - I had to double take as I was sure I must have read 20. There are many, many directories out there which are free to advertise on, which are established and have significant footfall.
You would be far better offering free advertising slots to ladies in order to get your directory up and running, they you can look at paid for advertising once you have traffic. But I seriously think you'll struggle even then at those kind of rates.

Maybe you should give up on this scheme to do an escort directory. Perhaps you should consider starting up a new HIGH CLASS escort agency. You know, one where the clients are really rich and all the girls are beautiful? Very easy to do and you'll make tons of money. Just be sure it's HIGH CLASS.
