Hi,
I am an experienced and qualified professional photographer based in London. Specialising in glamour, lingerie, nude and fashion.
Published in various national newspapers and magazines, online websites and stores, and I also work with agencies.
I've worked alongside Glamour Photo London for a couple of years and have been solo for a couple of years.
I have a number of great recommendations, testimonials, and have worked with a few of you from this forum.
I offer the following packages and all will include:
Studio/Location use, Optional hair/makeup aritst, Outfit changes, Styling/posing help, Retouched images, All originals, Fast turnaround. Low resolution originals are always sent over on the same day as the shoot.
- Top Up Package: Perfect for those who need a quick portfolio or need to add to one! Set fee ?240 (only without hair/mua).
- Studio Package: Lower cost packages. Individual prices range from ?350 to ?600.
- Location Package: Shoot at stunning hired venue. Individual prices range from ?600 to ?1000.
- Your Package: You supply location. Proof of suitability must be given.
A standard white and coloured paper backdrop studio can be supplied if you wish to have a plain background.
All shoots can accomodate a very maximum of 3 models.
A deposit is required for any booking.
Discounts apply if you book with others to shoot on the same day.
Discounts or extras will apply to regular clients.
Prices vary depending on package, studio/location & requirements.

I did a shoot with Alan last year and can highly recommend him. My photos were amazing, he's a very versatile photographer (so difficult to find, and I've tried many!). Clients have all loved my photos, and Alan doesn't go silly on the photoshop either so they're nice and realistic. I'll be going back soon :)

I've worked with Alan several times now and I am delighted to recommend him.
He's very easy going and relaxed but also completely professional and managed to get 100's of brilliant shots for me in a very short time. I'm a very large BBW and so the poses and the shots that I need are a bit different from the average 'glamour' shots but Alan was happy to listen to what I wanted and gave lots of great advice and clear direction to help me get the results that work best for my target audience.
The locations he recommended were fantastic, and the Hair and Makeup artist he bought along was absolutely brilliant too. Alan gets the pictures back to me really quickly and every time the results (and the extra business it brought me) have been fantastic.
Overall he's just a great bloke - funny, cheerful, hard-working, totally non-sleazy and a very talented photographer!

I have also worked twice with Alan and will continue to do so in the future. Great equipment and lighting, super friendly and really easy to work with. High quality but natural retouching which is very hard to find. Very flattering, sexy and classy pictures :)

A little late, but firstly Happy New Year!
Just stopping by to let you all know some changes to my website:
- New gallery as of Feb 2014. More images, newer images, and larger image viewing!
- Now hosting as of Feb 2014, aside from the 2 basic package apartments, up to 7 locations to choose from (also the penthouse is back and refurbished).
- Some new packages and pricing, and more clear information as of Jan 2014.
I would also like to clarify as I get asked this a lot:
- I give you literally everything we shoot (all originals), as well as your chosen retouched images. You can have everything via email, or by disc. I also keep backups of everything in case you wish to get something from me at a later date.
- I will not use any of your images for any purpose and never do unless I have been given permission. If necessary I am more than happy to sign something for you. You will own your images.
- If you do not wish to show your face I can add professional blurs/crops of your preference ie. whole face, part face, or just eyes.
- I am London based but do travel nationally and internationally. Anything outside of London is of course quoted by specification.
Hope to hear from lots of new faces this year (and of course old faces), and have a great 2014!

Hi ladies,
Just wanted to add to the list of glowing reviews for Alan.
I shot with him just over a week ago (after spotting this post - thank you saafe - you are a life-saver!).
He was a real pleasure to work with - friendly, professional and very, very talented.
I hadn't had a shoot in 2 or 3 years and so was totally reliant on his great direction. I'm also a curvy size 8-10 so he gave me great poses and lighting so my figure looked it's best.
The make-up girl that accompanied him was lovely as well - great to talk to, helped me in and out of my various outfits with their ridiculous clasps and kept my hair and make-up looking perfect throughout the shoot.
When I got the raw images through, I thought they were wonderful, so I just new the final ones would be perfect.
As has been mentioned before, Alan takes great, natural pictures - no overly-photoshopped, impossibly long legs and stick thin waist - just beautiful images, great poses and lovely lighting to show you at your best.
I've already received compliments about my photos from the people I work with and clients and they've been up just a couple of days. I've also already recommended Alan to others and I will certainly shoot with him again when I need some more pictures.

Hi ladies,
Another great review for Alan. I contacted Alan to take some photos for my websites and was able to set up a photo-shoot in a week and a half. He created a special package for me as I wanted a make up artist but only needed 5 photos. Everything was explained clearly and thoroughly.
On the day of the shoot I had a plumbing emergency in my flat and was a half hour late but Alan made sure that I still got the full time for my shoot. I hate having photos taken, am not photogenic and find it a very uncomfortable process, but Alan made me feel at ease and I had a great time at the shoot, it went by very quickly! I was very happy with the make up artist as well, she asked me what I wanted and did exactly what I asked for. She stayed throughout the whole shoot and that helped me in and out of my outfits, applied make up on my body so that my skin shinned, and also fixed my hair in several photos (I have veeery long curly hair) so that it looked perfect.
The photos have turned out lovely and I am extremely happy with them, they are even better than what I hoped for! I have gotten a great response from my old clients who love them and from new clients who have seen them on my profile (a new client doubled our booking time and he loved the one I put up as a profile shot) and they have only been up a day! Alan is very good at helping with posing if that doesn't come naturally to you and also at picking out outfits that are flattering. I would recommend bringing several to work with as I wish I had had more to choose from and there were a few things that I didn't think would work that Alan thought would (and did) and a few things I liked that Alan knew would not look good on camera. Alan is very professional and the apartment that we used for the shoot was lovely. If you are looking for natural looking photos then Alan is perfect-- he edited the photos so that they are more flattering, but they look very natural and realistic, not like digital art!
I will need to get some new photos taken in October as I am getting my breasts done at the end of the August and I will definitely use Alan again!

Hi Alan. A few questions:
Do you use any images anywhere eg website, magazines, anywhere online, printed and displayed in your studio, portfolio etc?
Is it possible to shoot with angles/hair etc covering face?
How many images do you get for your top up package?
If shooting with face can you pixelate and make sure that face copies are deleted/do not exist anywhere at all?

Anyways thanks for your message, and as I can't PM people on here, I have posted below in response to your questions:
- Do you use any images anywhere eg website, magazines, anywhere online, printed and displayed in your studio, portfolio etc? No, images are not used at all anywhere unless your consent is given.
- Is it possible to shoot with angles/hair etc covering face? Yes this is possible, and I can also give you nice face blurred/cropped versions of any images showing your face.
- How many images do you get for your top up package? With the 'Top Up' package I give you 5 pro retouched images, and you can have all originals also. Originals will be between 100-200 images.
- If shooting with face can you pixelate and make sure that face copies are deleted/do not exist anywhere at all? As mentioned before I am happy to give you blurred/pixelated/cropped versions. I do store all shoots on external hard drives so that if you want your images in future I always have them backed up for you. But of course if you request for me to delete them completely then of course I will.

Just to say I had my third shoot ( second this year) with Alan
I shared the shoot with my friend and I had the afternoon session at location 2 which is amazing location with fantastic balcony to shoot on
I got really good photos again and managed to get some fantastic evening pictures of me with the London skyline in the background at dusk which im really pleased with
I got the raw images that night so very quick to get them back to you so you can choose which ones you want
Will be booking again next year

Had my 3rd shoot with Alan.
Again nothing but professional. Excellent pictures, gets you in great poses . Always increases bookings when I have new photos done.
Just a tip ladies. Take a few different outfits. If you get 5 to change into, take along 8 as he will choose the best to suit your figure/ background .
I have so far used locations 1, 2 and 3 and will be using him again in a few months.

I agree with this very quick turnaround on your chosen images, and I agree that the raw images are excellent as well .

Firstly thank you for the feedback that's been received since I was last here...
My new website is now live and shiny!
Further shoot information has been added, gallery updated, and a new location added.
I am also currently trying my hand at video therefore once I feel more confident I will be adding this service to my website...
On that note, I am offering one intro video for free as a self trial, but also for possible portfolio use. If this is something that might interest you and you're happy for it to be used online (I can shoot without face shown) then please reply to my Twitter post or email me direct.

Just had my 4th shoot with Alan Thomas today
Used location 1 which is stunning apartment ( the bathroom is to die for )
I finnished my shoot at 2pm and got my raw images by 7pm same day
Have to say that the raw images even before editing are very very good and if I wanted to use them as selfie styles pictures I would be happy to do this
As usual a great guy to work with especially as I can't tell my left foot from my right foot and have to be directed continuously 😄

I totally agree with Paris!! I've used some of the raw, unedited pics on my site because they are very good.
Alan is very professional but puts you at ease. I felt very comfortable with him and at no point did I feel like he was looking at me in the wrong way (as a female, it's easy to wrongly assume that all male photographers are pervy haha) - he gave great posing help and an overall great experience.
I've just booked my second shoot! Can't recommend him enough.
It's worth the trip to London for sure, and if you throw in a little tour at the same time you'll cover your costs :)

Yes I am, only it?s name has changed and price slightly more than it used to be.
I currently have 2 options that are similar the the old ?top up? package.
If you see my website there is either the ?your location? package or the ?Loc 1 opt 1? (this one being the old top up package) package.

Hope everyone is well.
I will be in Edinburgh early April and available for photo shoots.
I have booked a lovely apartment (& confirmed for shoot use) in the centre of Edinburgh for a few days and currently have some well priced (I hope) package slots available on 2nd, 3rd, and 4th of April 2018.
