In the Lions Den :: Looking for Lionesses
« on: 21 November 2015, 05:48:31 am »
Hi, we are 3 women who have started a new escorting agency, 100 Degrees.
One of us is currently a mature student and escort. The other two; a wonderfully talented illustrator/ advertising girl, and a tech wizard/ business women.

After trawling the internet looking at the websites of current agencies, we felt the tone of a lot of them was pretty tired, trashy and plain un-inspiring. We got excited about the possibilities of creating something more fresh, cool and beautiful, which also had a strong empowering and feminist tone; intelligent women choosing to support themselves and their studies with escorting. We want to be as non-stigma as possible - an agency that reinforces positive choice.

We are now looking for our team of student and graduate women who would be interested in joining our agency. If you are interested in finding out more or wish to apply to work with us please send us an email to hello100degrees@gmail.com with a little about yourself + some pictures, and any questions.

Here is a link to our website, which is still very much under construction.
Its rough first draft but will hopefully convey the type of vibe we're going for.

Thanks!

I don't think the photographer who shot the pics and the famous models possing for them would agree as being very " female empowering" to see themselves on your website passing as prossies. If someone is getting "empowered" it's pretty much you.

Hi Ana30,
Thanks so much for taking the time to reply. You are totally right. We did consider this when we used the photos, we made sure that when we made the template site we made no reference to it having anything to do with escorting, it is just a design template, so people can get an idea of our vibe.

The only place we have made the link to the fact that the design will be used for an escorting service is on this forum, we do not think anyone who found the site would make that connection.  However you are right that as we have posted it on this forum that connection has been made, so we taken onboard what you have said and have edited the pictures to hide the subjects identity, whilst hopefully still conveying the the aesthetic we are going for. If we send you a link in a private message would you have time to have a look and see what you think?

The idea was just to show the style we wanted to go for, using real photos of real girls, rather than the heavily photoshopped pictures you see on other sites. We would love any feedback that you would have, we are just starting out and so comments and constructive criticism are welcome and will always be taken on board.

I like the look of the site. It's got a really modern, fresh feel to it. Good luck!

Advertisers can't send private messages, and had you read the advertising rules you would know that.

After trawling the internet looking at the websites of current agencies, we felt the tone of a lot of them was pretty tired, trashy and plain un-inspiring. Unnecessarily badmouthing your competitors and referring to adult women as 'girls' doesn't suggest a 'strong empowering and feminist tone' to me, but that's by the by.

What isn't is the apparent belief that what the women you're asking to consider employing you do with their money once they've earned it is anything to do with you? Your post implies that you think it's fine and worthwhile to work as a prostitute if you're doing so to pay for something 'noble' like studying, but that those of us doing so for 'lesser' reasons like feeding themselves and their children, caring for a family member or maybe starting another business are inferior in some way. Why is one a 'positive choice' and not the others?

Being intelligent and articulate are not related to the qualifications somebody has any more that the ability to dish out a decent blow job is, and frankly provided whoever they book is enthusiastic, friendly and can fuck like a bunny the majority of punters are not going to give a shit what their exam results were like. Moreover, how do you propose to establish somebody actually is a student or graduate without asking for an unacceptable amount of personal information?

At least the ones who come here are just say 'Yeah we want loads of pretty size 10 max 18-25 year olds who'll work 18 hours a day and hand us a third of their earnings without complaining' are honest. The only thing you've actually talked about is your website, and that's not finished.

So how are punters and escorts supposed to find your website if you don't think anyone will make the connection? ???

Exactly. The only thing we know about their operation from the entire post is how they want their website design to look and what they want us to think about how it looks regardless of it's content, and I'd say that using silly Brent-speak expressions like 'an idea of our vibe' gives far more away than the link. We don't even know where they are, let alone how they plan to screen, whether they're offering incall premises or drivers, what their proposed fees and commission rates will be.

But as long as the website looks pretty (and the bit I saw just looked like any one of the hundred or so generic WordPress themes I looked through when I was making my site earlier in the year), who cares? ::)

I actually like the look of the website but I'm neither a student nor a graduate so I guess they wouldn't be interested in me

It's filler text, used for websites in development.

Yeah - I haven't seen it, but I'm guessing it's the Lorum Ipsum stuff.

What they've essentially done is announce they're opening a fabulous shop which will be better than all the other shops we've seen; it isn't open, stocked or anything else helpful yet, but they want to invite us all over for a look anyway in the hope that we'll say how nice the wallpaper is.

Ok, so you have a stand in template using models in place of an actual website..

So, fees/comission/drivers provided?/incalls or outcalls etc. etc. etc.

Is anything going to be different other than the website you hope to make?
