How do you know if verification has been successful? I had a message on my AW. I downloaded the app on both my work and personal phone but did the verification through my personal phone( web based) but provided my work phone number( with AW). I’m wondering if this has caused an issue?
By default new installations are restricted, we ask users to verify they are a sexworker before removing the restriction. This will include asking for a link to an advertising profile and a contact telephone number, if the telephone number supplied does not match the one shown on an advertising profile then verification fails. If NO number appears on an advertising profile then we make contact via any internal messaging systems.
When a user verifies themselves we removed the restriction on the device & installation that made the request, if a user re-installs the app or uses a different phone the restriction is by default in place again.
You will know if restrictions have been removed by being able to see report descriptions, if you cannot see them then you are still restricted.
