If your refering to the new GDPR regulations regarding holding personal identifiable data then yes the app complies with that, we contacted the Information Commissionar helplines and explained the app to them, what the app collected in the reports and who would be reporting and they told us:

"Although the telephone number being reported may belong to someone else (Client) it can't, by itself, be used to identify someone so it can still be reported if the person whos making the report (Sexworker) has saftey information pertaining to it and does not add any  other identifiable information, the person making the report (Sexworker) OWNS the data they are sharing, that can include numbers (Clients) who mave made contact with them." ( All reports are monitored by ME and my partner to ensure every report complies )

Short answer Yes.

Long answer also yes because the app stores a reported number in its database by firstly removing any spaces, brackets or plus signs so for example a number could appear on your phone as +1 (234) 567 890 but if it was reported it would appear on the database as 1234567890, when a search is made ( either when a call or text is received or manually searched), the database returns details for the last sequence of numbers and not any international code formats, another example could be that +441234567890 is reported but you receive a call from 01234567890 ( the same number but without an international code ) the database would still display the same report as the last sequence of numbers match.

100% NOT, in no way should it ever be a competition to share information.

We would ALWAYS advise users to report to them any abuse they may encounter whilst working, they have a national presence and have helped 1000's of sex workers offering support when things go wrong, they can liase with the police and other charities to get the best help and support.

National Ugly Mugs have become aware of the "Client Eye" app and have enquired with us as to what we do, we have explained to them in detail how the app works and who its aimed at.

We are not a charity and as such have banner spaces within the app, we hope to use these spaces to freely promote sexual support service groups like National Ugly Mugs for the UK & any other National Support groups, at the moment we don't, and wouldn't use banners of theirs in our app without their permission but this is something to look at for the future.
Our banner spaces will also be used for affiliate advertising to cover operational and running costs.

The information we are given by users is done anonymously, for the more serious reports we would ALWAYS advise they report to services like National Ugly Mugs aswell.

Definitely will never work on my work phone.

Yes the app has a manual search feature you could use on your other phone so you could use it that way, you would also get instant notifications for calls and texts as they come in but if used in a none "work phone" it probably wouldnt find any reports for your callers.

I should also add that when you do a manual search, if you find there are no reports on a number but you have info on the number you can still report it and it will add to the database for all users to see.

Is there no contact facility on the app, Emma? Because to be honest, the talk of 'us' and the use of our forum and especially our PM system to basically promote your app and nothing else means that this account is soon going to be in the Advertiser usergroup, given the unfair advantage over others using the forum in exactly the same way.
