I have downloaded the app and I think it's fab, but I am a little conerned about privacy.

Why does the app require your IMEI number? For those of us whose work phones are on contract this is a little alarming; if the app was compromised it means that identifying information could fall into the wrong hands.

I'm super keen on the app and I've told a lot of working friends about it, we all think its fab but many of us are concerned about this privacy issue and  the risk of a breach.

When the app was launched we needed to be able to identify a device solely INCASE someone abused the system, the imei gave us the ability to block a users access to making reports if they were found to be making repeated fake or false reports.

The imei was and is always kept private and never appears anywhere in any reports or disclossed to anyone.

We have now found another solution which will give us an installation id ( no device details needed ) instead of an imei so will be removing the need for the imei in the next version. (v1.6)

As the final touches are made to the android app and the iOS app is soon to be started its time to launch social media profiles.

Just thought I'd update as I've found a partial fix for the HTC Sense UI. Basically I went into my phone settings, opened up "Installed Apps", then searched for "Sense Home" and went into it. If you scroll down there's an option called "Allow Sense to draw over other apps" (or something like that) - I've disabled that and Client Eye seems to be working fine so far. Hooray!

In testing i had a simualr issue when DU recorder was installed on the phone, another app that draws over apps. When this was active it would crash the Client Eye app as it too needed to "draw over" the screen to show notifications.

Glad you found a fix for it though as it was something we couldnt replicate when testing for this issue. x

Sadly after a few more calls and texts, the issue recurred with the UI crashing and sending the phone into a spasm.

Could there be an option in future to manually add or check numbers rather than it reading from the phone history? In that case I could install it on a second handset and just manually type in the phone number.

The next release of the app is going to have a manual search feature together with its other features.

What a great idea, well done! I think we need something a bit more detailed than true-caller. Only annoying thing is having to scroll through all my contacts to find someone to add him.

We're pushing out an update to the "Client Eye" app to v1.7.

During the update process the database will be unavailable for reporting but will still work for viewing existing reports (2500+ so far).

"Client Eye" v1.7 has been fully rolled out.
(Users using v1.5 will need to update to v1.7 in order to enable the new reporting options)
Apps should auto update once a day ( depending on your phone settings ) but you can force an update by visiting the playstore searching for "Client Eye" and updating manually

Updates Include:
Manual search feature.
Single and bulk reporting options combined into one page with single or multiple location options.
Report type options available upon "report" selection.
Removed the need for the IMEI to be collected when reporting for more anonymity.
Added the ability to view, report & search any international numbers for escorts who tour or are based outside of the UK.

An IOS version of the app is now in development which is estimated to be available in approx 4-5 weeks.
