I do appreciate all the work that Client Eye puts in and, as they say, nobody is forced to use it. But this is why I don't use it. Back in the day when I started we had an offline version of Ugly Mugs (as I remember it was an inky black and white print with an artist's impression of the wrong 'un). These were VERY serious cases. Robbery, rape and in rare events murder. Because there were so few of them you didn't have many individuals to look out for so it was easy to commit them to memory and they were etched in your mind. It wasn't overwhelming, it was just the most important info there for you in black and white, ie, these are the people you NEED to look out for. Personally it served me well because I honed my instincts by talking to enquirers and getting a sense of who they were and whether I wanted to see them. Many, many people got short shrift but I would never have dreamed of reporting them anywhere. I feel that if someone has made 150 reports in 18 months they're either very unlucky or reporting absolute trivia. Dealing with timewasters is just part of the job in my opinion. I would rather just save their number as 'timewaster' than risk them changing their number because they've caught wind that numerous other ladies have reported them for not turning up or cancelling.
