Womens Clinic & Support: Edinburgh, Lothians & Borders
« on: 20 June 2018, 02:35:39 pm »
Hello, my name is Rachel and I work for the support service anotHER Way, who offer non-judgmental support to anyone involved in the sex and adult industry in Edinburgh, Lothians & Borders.

We are a friendly team who offer one-to-one emotional and practical support in a number of areas including sexual health, healthcare, housing and parenting. Our service also allows women to anonymously report offences through the Ugly Mug scheme. We also offer free condoms, lube, dams and safety alarms.

We also have a weekly presence at the Women’s Clinic which runs in partnership with the NHS.

The Women’s Clinic runs on Wednesday afternoons at Chalmers Centre, 2A Chalmers St EH3 9ES  2pm-4.30 pm (Doctor available). Also on a Thursday at Spittal Street Centre, 22-24 Spittal Street, EH3 9DU (entrance by side  green door on Lady Lawson Street) from 2 pm – 4.30.pm ( Dr available at this session), and 5 pm – 7.30 pm.

The Women’s Clinic offers a free, confidential Sexual Health Service for Women who work in the sex industry, where all of our staff are female. We provide methods of contraception, rapid testing for HIV and Syphilis with results available immediately and testing for other infections with results back in one week. We can give vaccinations to protect against the Flu, Hepatitis B and also HPV (which causes Cervical Cancer).

If you have any questions or want to find out more about any of the services we offer or have a general chat please reach me on 07966 222636 (through phone call/text message/what’s-app).

Rachel.
