Paid interview for sex workers in Medway!

METRO Charity has been commissioned to do a piece of research into the experience of Sex Workers in Medway, Kent.

We are looking for people who live/work in Medway to take part in paid (?30) interviews about your experiences using and accessing sexual health services.

This would of not been a problem but the price ?30 is tacking the biscuit.

Considering the lady will be giving her time to sit and answer questions. It would only make sense if the charity paid they lady her rate that she charges for hour or 2 hour depending on how long the interview will commence for. My opinion I doubt a working girl will happy to sit for such fee the charity is offering for interview.

Dynamite doll that is a bit harsh it is a charity and they are trying to access OUR needs ( as well as others who need help ) it is only right we should have a say  the

 ?30 is gesture ...... look at all the surveys  we have to fill out in normal life for free to improve services for eg the nhs

I f i lived in Medway i would of happily helped  for free and so would most working girls i know ...

if it had been a writer or production company i see where you are coming from ( as they make money off our info ) but not a sexual health service .

I'm guessing DD got this request mixed up with the crappy journo ones up in the Media section, which it patently is not. This organisation is asking because they presumably want to offer sex workers (likely free) healthcare services and want to get it right by asking us before they start.

Like April, I would happily have done it for free too had I been in Medway (which I'm not). I've filled in plenty of surveys for the likes of Ugly Mugs as well as people doing legitimate research and it wouldn't even cross my mind to expect payment.

Hi Tony,

Are you looking for people who are usually based in the Medway towns?

I do tour in this area and would be happy to participate but it sounds like you're looking to plan services for local workers, and I only come to this area occasionally.
