Sandwell SWISH project
« on: 06 April 2017, 12:23:07 pm »
Terrence Higgins Trust Sandwell are now running a SWISH project for workers within the area. Whether you are male or female,  work indoors or out doors, work independently or for an agency you can access our free service. We offer bags of condoms and lube which can be delivered or dropped off in person by our dedicated SWISH worker. We also offer Rapid HIV testing which are carried out in designated areas throughout Sandwell. However, we can organise a testing venue and health promotion service for agencies and indoor workers. We will also be offering an outreach van for outdoor workers.

If you would like to know more about our project please contact Jo on 07342949163 or joanne.morgan@tht.org.uk

Integrated sexual health services

Terrence Higgins Trust Sandwell would like your valued opinion of what sexual health services you would like to be available within the local area. We are interested in your thoughts and feelings regarding what is important to escorts regarding  continued sexual health. At present, THT Sandwell offer free condoms and lube, rapid HIV tests , STI postal kits, advice around sexual health and working safely. However, in order for us to provide continued support we need to know what is important to you. For instance, do you feel a social group for escorts to discus work related issues would be beneficial? Or is there a certain area or venue you feel we would be able to deliver sexual health services more efficiently? We are also keen to set up a sexual health clinic designed specifically for the needs of escorts, ie, away from mainstream sexual health clinics such as GUM?s, is this something that you feel is a need?
Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all,

I am trying to promote THT services to indoor based workers and would like any opinions regarding how you feel this would best be done. If you are an independent worker in the Sandwell or Birmingham area I would love to hear from you, what services do you feel you would benefit from? Are there any concerns regarding accessibility etc.

Feel free to get in touch either using Saafe, or you can email me or call me on joanne.morgan@tht.org.uk  /  0121 314 2510

Jo :)
