Hi MsRedhead, thanks for your question. We are a partnership of organisations based across Scotland with a long history of supporting women involved in selling or exchanging sex. There’s lots more information on each of our partner organisations on our website here: [removed]

yes, none of those orgs are sex worker led and none of them support full decriminalisation. Most of them support the Nordic model and exit only

Our partnership is led by the needs of each individual woman who accesses our service and we are there to support each woman's health and well-being by supporting the choices that she makes for herself. We want to reassure you that all support we provide is completely non-judgemental and led by you and the priorities you identify for yourself.

yes, but every org supports and lobbies for a law that harms sex workers (and doesn't even recognise us as workers).

Hi everyone,

After chatting to you here on SAAFE we just wanted to tell you a little more about who we are and the values behind our service.

We are an approachable and non-judgemental team of experienced women’s workers based all over Scotland – right from the Borders to Aberdeen and the Highlands. We can provide online or face-to-face support to any woman who sells or exchanges sex online in Scotland. The support is entirely led by you, your needs and the priorities you identify for yourself. This can be emotional support, information on local services or anything in between. We want to reassure you that we will in no way force or pressure you to stop selling sex, but if that is something you are considering we will support you throughout.

We’re always happy to chat about our service, the support we offer and how your voices can play a key role in our development. Please do get in touch via our website: click.scot/voice/

Hope to chat with you soon,
The CLiCK Team

Can you please just make it clear that all the orgs involved support the nordic model and therefore work against our interests? If Scottish workers are looking for sex worker led organisations, scot pep and umbrella lane are peer led and support our rights

Click there are sex workers in Scotland who have stopped going to a clinic that displayed your artwork, because it implied that violence against women was the fault of sex work. You can't support us by stigmatising us, and so far you have done more harm than good.

If you don't support full decrim or workers rights for sex workers then you can't advocate for us or offer the right kind of support no matter how 'non-judgemental' you say you are.

I second what MsRedhead says and would encourage people in need of support to contact Umbrella Lane or Scotpep, who offer much more in terms of practical and emotional support than you can.

Exactly, saying you are "non judgmental" implies that you think that we should be grateful that you aren't judging us. It makes me feel ill that your project has £1m of funding when sex worker led groups have a fraction of that money

I'll take your 'sex worker led groups' fraction and raise you sweet fuck all, otherwise known as the funding that SAAFE gets.

Honestly i am so fed up of do-gooders waltzing in and deciding they're going to save all of us, despite having absolutely no idea about the industry. Their arrogance is breathtaking.

If Click have a genuine desire to help and support sex workers the absolute best thing they can do is shut themselves down and make sure their funding goes to the services which have been helping sex workers for years. I'm guessing that won't happen though, because their aim is not to support us, but to get us to 'exit' whether we like it or not.

And yet somehow these organisations manage to provide more than 8 hours of support a week.
