Are you sure that's a good plan. I sometimes take a friend on four but there are cons as well as pros.

I only get her to answer while I am busy.

The pros are I can end up busier and I don't have to text back missed callers. Sometimes the company is nice to have.

The cons are I can end up losing customers who don't like speaking to a 3rd party, I have to pay her money per client, I sometimes end up seeing skanky guys that no way I would let in, and on occasion I don't want her around. Company nice sometimes but other times a pain in the arse.

If looking for a receptionist in this business you need someone who is thorough (ie bothers screening properly as you have told them to), has a good friendly telephone manner (or they may lose you bookings), but apt at not letting sex chatters have a field day, basically someone who knows the business inside out. Someone level headed, trustworthy and not scatty  :)

Sounds like the easiest job to recruit for in the world, but actually it's difficult to find a good receptionist. Also bearing in mind the legal side of things, which is potentially dodgy and could land the receptionist in some trouble (complex and stupid law but it can happen)

Hi I would like to do this for your be your receptionist as I have receptionist experience, not in screening clients in this sector but can learn how to do it properly. I am really friendly, professional and polite on the phone and know about the industry as been an independent escort on and off for 2 years now. The 'legal side of it' is that you can be prosecuted under Section 53 of the Sexual Offences Act 2003 (Controlling Prostitution For Gain), which can carry a custodial sentence of up seven years, although this would be unlikely for someone in a receptionist/maiding type role. The likelihood of anybody being interested depends largely on what sort of operation you're running, and where in the country you are.
