« on: 01 March 2011, 11:04:04 pm »
Hi
Im a keen photographer and I am offering to take pictures and provide them to you for your own use and publication with no licence or copyright. Pictures are yours to do with as you require. No change, its a hobby and I can undertake photoshop work aswell to get that photo looking stunning.

If interested then let me  know.

Just so everyone's clear, there's no such thing as "no copyright" unless something is specifically released into the public domain (or it's old enough for the copyright to have expired). If you get Scot here to take your pictures and don't exchange any contracts, the copyright will belong to him. If you want to be sure of your rights, and especially if you want to own the pictures yourself, you need to sort out a contract.

Hi

Ta for the comment  - As said Im pretty new to this and well I should have said that the photos would be yours and would not be resold published or shared by myself. Im just looking to take a few pictures and get some practice in doing so - would like to think that a few of these pictures would be useful to someone wanting pictures without having to go through the chanels ot a professional tog and be paying out money.

I understand what you meant but whatever you say (and intend), you're going to own the copyright unless you sign it over in some legally appropriate way, and anyone having pictures taken needs to bear that in mind.
