Just a heads up to anyone thinking of renting-

I paid a deposit a week in advance to rent this room for a week only to get a message the day before that it’s not available and she doesn’t have my deposit to send back.

Sorry to hear that babe, open a dispute with your bank if you paid through bank transfer.
This “advertiser” is a new profile shouldn’t even be asking for deposit - just screams scam.
