yeah but by the time i pay ebay fees, pay pal fees and delivery i end up out of pocket! x

Yes I suppose. Paypal are doing this scheme for new ebayers, they will hold your money till you have sent the item off. And if you have a item worth over ?100 they will hold the money for 3 weeks !! agh with the ebay owners already have the item and you have your money frozen !
