London
« on: 23 June 2009, 10:05:12 am »
I'm giving serious consideration to a London tour, and suggestions for places to stay would be most appreciated. I'll be travelling by train to Euston where I know I can then get to just about anywhere using the tube. As London is so vast, where do other touring ladies stay?

Due to personal reasons I can only tour during the school summer holidays - does anyone think this will be problematic in terms of getting enough client interest? Also, is it best to tour midweek or at weekends (I mean in terms of interest/bookings)?

Any advice much appreciated x

I think you should still get a lot of interest.
Although in the past I have found that the term holiday times do tend to be quieter full stop, guys saving up for holidays, child care problems etc.

Good luck anyway, try and make the most of it, I'm sure you will still do well.

Hello! Of course girls are everywhere, but I know that Earls Court area (west-ish), Paddington area (north west-ish) and Liverpool Street (east) are the places that lots of us choose to work from as indies- if directory listings are to be believed! Anywhere in zone 1 or 2 and you are sorted though I reckon. What about near to one of the airports? That would be rather cunning :)

Hi Jenny

I would definitely opt for mid week rather than weekend.  Whilst there are obviously weekend bookings the majority of mine are weekdays (you know the married men fitting it in around work).

As for London location - that I cannot advise too much on as I am out near Heathrow.  However, as Carla has said, you would definitely need to look at being in Zone 1 or 2, which are most central and the areas Carla mentioned seem to be the hot spots with most traffic.

Let me know if there is anything else you need to know or pm me and will help if I can.  There are, I am sure, other girls on here who are more centrally based then me so hopefully someone else can offer more advice.

Alex x

Hi

I would recommend Russell Square near Holborn Lots of tourists there and also a thriving business district.  Very central too.

Do not go West London (Paddington has about 500 girls in it on our last count)

Hope that helps
