Important: safety when replying to ads

Everyone, especially those who are new to the industry, please be careful with your personal information when you respond to ads here and elsewhere. These advertisers are all people who want to make money from sex workers, most of them are unknown, and some of them are not nice people. Don't trust them just because they have a website or sound nice/businesslike on the phone. You'll get yourself into trouble that way!

As a rule, don't give anyone who you meet through the sex industry any information that you wouldn't give to any punter that called, or anything that you wouldn't want published. This includes your personal phone number, identifying pictures and address.

If you get to know someone properly or you're dealing with an organisation that has a good track record, you might decide that it's worth trusting them, but don't make this decision lightly and certainly don't just because someone tells you to.

... and here's the latest winner of the 'Creepy As Fuck' award, which Mr Genuine tried posting three or four times here yesterday:

New Independant Escorts 18-24 in South East?

Hello! Do you want to work as an Independant Escort and not for an agency, but don't know how? I am here to help. I am 33, live near Gatwck, very easy going. Started doing this as met a few girls who were new to industry, and really were out of their depth, and unhappy. So I helped them out, and went from there. I work with a very small select group of girls who are new to business and do not know how to get started. Currently advising 12 girls, 9 who are Polish, 2 English and 1 Czech. You will not work for me, you will be 100% independant. I am just here to get you started, and help you on your way. You can use my help for as long or short a time as you wish. I can advise you on hotels in great locations all over UK and help set you up with profiles on sites that will earn you money. Infact I can help you with whatever you need. Please just contact me on the email provided, and we can go from there.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Obviously, the email address has been removed, but he's...
  • ... only interested in a very narrow (and young, and significantly younger than him) age group
  • ... saying he's "very easy going", typically code for 'I expect to have sex with you'
  • ... got a preference for women who are new to the work
  • ... got a preference for women who feel they have few options
  • ... got a preference for women who don't have English as a first language
  • ... probably expecting you to pay, one way or another ::) , for stuff you can get for free here
  • ... failed to show any awareness of the board rules and boundaries
  • ... saying he wants you to be 'independent' but he can't even spell the word
etc etc etc.

Most people who do not have your best interests at heart are not as obvious as this one, but there are plenty of them out there. And some of them are women.
