This idiot sounded very genuine.  English, middle aged.  Called and said he'd seen my ad on the internet and asked for some more details.  After he hung up, he sent me a strange text -

''Darling we just spoke on the phone,,, just realised I've left my wallet at home (Bournemouth),, would you consider me leaving my passport as security so i could see  you today, then collect on Friday when i am back in the area,,, bit strange I know but true,, I have 500? watch too,,,,,,can you help me?

I blocked him.

I then get another call about 2 hours later from a different number, and it wasn't until he hung up and sent me yet another text (the punctuation and pound sign after the numbers is identical in both texts so I know it was him) that I realised he had said exactly the same things as he did when he called on his other number.  Again 'Hi, I've seen your ad on the internet, can I have some details'.

When I told him my prices, he said he only had forty quid and I told him sorry but that's not adequate for my fee etc.  He then sent me a text -

'I have a crazy day,,, see me do 40??'

He sounds like a bit of a nutter.  He did ask what time I was there til.  I just don't want him targetting newbies and wasting anyone elses time.  PM me for full numbers -
