had a booking put through on adult work yesterday, booked a few hours in advance, i thought nice client, any way checked his feedback there was good feedback from an escort then a negative, gave him benefit of the doubt, meeting was for 2pm texted him at 1.30 with my room number, didn't hear anything then he rang at 2pm saying he was just round the corner, i was a bit annoyed at this point, then he said he was at the hotel... idiot kept ringing me then putting the phone down! at 25 past two i said to him i gave you benefit of the doubt regarding his bad feedback, didn't hear anything from him, so left him negative feedback and he disputed it!! IDIOT!

Taylor - am I reading your post correctly, in that you gave a random stranger your exact location via text without speaking to him on the phone at all?

This is not wise. Please consider adding a confirmation phonecall (or two) into your booking procedures - it really helps weed out the creepy little weirdos because A) they don't like following instructions and B) they don't like revealing their creepy little weirdo-ness on the phone before they get a chance to waste your time (or worse).

As you can imagine, Adultwork feedback is sometimes utterly useless (even if it's all positive, other escorts will frequently exaggerate the positivity of a booking so that they don't risk nasty feedback in return) so you need to give your gut instinct a chance to check out potential clients.

(Edit to add: Please don't take this personally! I'm mostly writing it because I see warnings all-too-often that include bookings being taken by text. I wouldn't text my doctor/dentist/etc for an appointment and I think texts are actually usually a great sign to indicate that a potential client has little respect for our profession and should therefore be completely ignored. If he's a grown man who wants to pay for sex, he can manage a simple call so I accept no excuses!)

yes i did speak to him on the phone, he phoned me at two to say he was getting cash out! ( i phone him earlier in the day to confirm booking also) then he kept ringing me accidently then putting the phone down

i have been escorting for three years! i also don't indulge in pointless endless texts with clients only to text room number, thanks for your help though!
