Timewaster in East Ham/E12
« on: 04 July 2014, 10:59:30 am »
I received an email and then a  call yesterday afternoon from  074044647** asking if I was available this morning at 9am for a 1 hour outcall booking. He called me again this morning (twice) to confirm booking and to give me his full address and postcode. Spoke to him at 9am while en route to say that I would be 10 minutes late and he said this was ok. When I got to the property, the door was answered by a middle aged woman who had no idea why I was there which was rather awkward. So I left and started to make my way home,a few minutes later I got a call from the client asking where I was. I told him that I had turned up but he'd given me the wrong address and that he was wasting my time etc. He told me that the woman was his housemate and that she'd just  left the property now and gave me a "please come back- I'm genuine- why would I have called twice this morning if I wasn't -spiel". Stupidly, and as I was just around the corner, I went back to the property, only for the same woman to answer. :FF  I sent him an AW email when I got home thanking him for wasting my time to which he immediately (never had such a fast response!) replied " No you were late and you weren't wearing what you said (I was) and I'm blocking you now.Goodbye"  AW profile is listed as a couple who escort and the feedback is hidden ( I know, I'm an idiot and should definitely know better

I presume you did not actually check he lived at the address?

Another example of what can happen if you go out on the back of a mobile call only.

Yeah I did the checks that I usually do - got a full name and landline no which checked out (though the landline rung out when I phoned which should have been another warning!) Guess that's not a 100% guarantee - it could have just been the address etc of someone he knew, or it could have been his place and he could have been sitting in side having a good old laugh. I should have stuck with my policy of not seeing clients without feedback or who don't show their feedback though - a moment of madness/weakness that I paid for :(

If you didn't speak to him on the landline phone at that address then it's no proof he's there. He could have plucked any address and phone number from directory enquiries, electoral roll, mis-delivered mail, someone he knows, anything.

All you have proved is that a phone works at that address.
