He called and made a booking for an hour. I usually get a deposit for new clients to avoid being messed about or I don't do the booking. He managed to get around that by saying he had no online access and was at work and would come straight from work to the booking. I was up against time as I had to go out straight after the booking so I let him off paying a deposit so I could fit him in. Big mistake.
He tells me his train is delayed and so he wouldn't get to me on time. I said fine but you need to be here by such and such a time and no later. Then all of a sudden straight after he says his train has arrived. Then he's trying to call me multiple times and text and is generally being very time consuming. He has told me he knows my area very well but then calls me saying he's just out of the tube station and asks which way to go and I have to tell him various landmarks to pass. Also it was dead quiet, no background traffic noise which I'd expect if he had been stood outside a tube station on his mobile on a busy main road. So at this point I'm thinking, this really isn't genuine.
Times getting on and he's apparently walking down the main road the 15mins to the road I gave him and then he texts to say he forgot to get money out the ATM and got lost and couldn't find one so he has to walk back to the station. Next he's 5mins away.....time limit I stated for him to arrive at has passed and still he hasn't turned up. I text him and tell him times up and he gave himself away, didn't tell him how. Tell him not to contact me again and he's a loser. Luckily I never gave out my actual address to him.
The cheeky git has the nerve to ask for another booking for the following night, late. I tell him to piss right off. The next day he's still asking for a booking for that night. Then I think well if he can pay upfront then okay but I tell him I'm busy tonight so has to be another night. He says yes he will do the payment and then starts pestering me about oh can't I come tonight? At this point I'm beyond being polite and have a go at him for not listening and basically give him a deadline to sort out payment with no excuses and of course he doesn't do it which is entirely what I expected.
If you get a call or text from this guy just block him. He will try and waste a lot of your time and try and wind you up. He sounds perfectly fine on the phone though which puts you at ease...I usually know when someone's not genuine but I didn't twig it with him until much later. He is the worst timewaster I've ever had girls. So beware!
