Had a request for 17:00 received at around 13:00 and asked to confirm at 16:00, I receive a response letting me know that he is in a meeting between 15:30 and 16:30 but he will confirm before then.

I receive a message at 15:20 confirming 17:00 and also a call 20 minutes later to confirm the same thing and ask about parking (while he was supposedly in said meeting).

I then receive a message at 16:30 saying the meeting may overrrun and could he postpone, I say yes but I'd be unwilling to confirm anything and if anyone else were to request my time I'd offer them the appointment.

Another message ten minutes later to let me know we're back on schedule followed by a message at 17:01 to say he'd be 20 minutes late.

I've just received a rather sheepish phone call saying he is still running late and when I asked what time I should expect him if at all he responded asking if I could just wait and he would tell me when he was 10 minutes away to which I told him not to bother and have put him on block.
