I gave this man the benefit of the doubt, his AW feedback is very mixed. Agreed deposit as I do all new clients (stipulated in my adverts), and that he'd lose it if he cancelled.
Was quite demanding during setting this up, adamant he is 70 years old, kept mentioning this and that he is disabled.
After I received deposit he revealed he lives in sheltered accommodation.
On the day he cancelled citing illness, claiming to be in hospital very ill and asked for part of the deposit to be returned. He'd paid slightly in excess of usual deposit because he'd tried to haggle, it was a long journey (outcall), and I was wary that he'd try to offer me less when I arrived so when I was reluctant to accept his booking he offered a higher deposit. He also revealed he's twenty years older than his claimed 70 years.
First set of bank details for the return of the extra were not correct, he spent the day badgering me to return the excess part which I did as soon he gave me correct details. Has spent remainder of the day sending me messages which swing from asking to be my 'friend', to demanding the remainder of the deposit back and calling me despite having told me he is very ill in hospital. He now threatens/says he's spoken to the bank about fraud.
