This one booked me to arrive for about 45mins time which was roughly 10:50. At 10:40 he rang, stumbling over his words and stuttering that it would be more like 11am, I suspected he would be a TW at this point but went along with it.

11:05 comes, not contact. I text him to see where he is and he said he forgot cash so was just going to the cashpoint 

11:15 - still no contact, so I call him and he says he's going to be 10-20mins now is that ok. I ask him 'well are you actually on your way?' to which he hangs up the phone on me as I'm speaking. I call him and he's switched his phone off.


A few hours later I get a message from him saying he was so excited to see me that he forgot the money. Followed by texts offering a bottle of wine to apologise, apologising for the 'misunderstanding' and when I return to my phone later, I also have a number of missed calls from him along with a message telling me he's been stood in the hotel I'm working from, calling me to try and catch me for another booking so he can come straight up!!!

I'm thankful that I wasn't working from home with him pulling a stunt like that.
