Anyone had dealings with this guy?
« on: 05 August 2011, 02:05:06 pm »
(sorry if this is the wrong section, please move if necessary)

My bells are ringing over this one, so I thought I'd come here for some reassurance and advice...

Guy on AW called rapluck**** (PM for full ID, wasn't sure if I was allowed to name), has minus 1 rating (yes, I know!) which was a meeting last year that apparantly didn't/couldn't happen. His profile says he's 19, but he's told me his profile's incorrect and his typing is clear and literate, so it FEELS like I'm conversing with someone older.

He shows up on my cam every evening, his IP is usually in US but sometimes shows a different location, I'm guessing his IP is proxy or floating, or whatever it's called. Nice guy, polite, really looking forward to meeting me. Started sending messages about meeting. Fine, no probs. He said he wanted 4 hours, and I said no problem, please be aware that I will need some rest breaks as I'm not a machine (with smiles and lols added, cos I wasn't being mean)...

Anyway, I received a message last night, part of it reads:

"I do understand the rest time but please I don't want it to end up you wasting a lot of the time we have together, it would feel to me a waste of my time and yours, as well as a waste of my money, I hope you understand.
Things are a little complicated with my visa and bookings and stuff right now but I will be sure to e-mail you ahead of time with the date, time, and hotel."

Personally I think he's a TW/fantasist, who is indeed 19 and dreaming. Praps he's coming over with his family and is trying to fit me in around that holiday. My gut instinct when I received above message just added to all the others, and I'm thinking of blocking and ignoring him on messages and cam.

Now that I've written it all down, I'm certain this booking won't happen. Still would be interested to read what others have to say about it, and if other saafe members have had dealings with him. Thanks :)

LOL  :D :D :D

I forgot one thing - his previous email to me said "don't worry I am clean" ... like, erm? Clean as in you bathe every day, or clean as in you don't have the clap, or clean as in you don't do drugs...?

I think you are right, he does sound like a total fantasist! No genuine client that you would want to spend 4 hours with, would expect to actually shag for 4 hrs non stop!

If I  was you I would tell him that you only accept  long bookings from new clients if you are given the  hotel booking reference in advance, and you will leave your home to the hotel once you have spoken to him in his room, and you could mention a small deposit in advance to cover your transport. I think it's highly likely that he will stop wasting your time once he realises that you won't  be messed around.

Also, the  alarm bells you mention usually comes from something in the language or the tone  that  time Wasters  use that usually gives them away. When someone says 'don't worry....' it's because they anticipate that there is something you will be, or should be concerned about!

YES! It was the "don't worry" bit that made me start worrying! :D Especially as NOTHING about cleanliness had been spoken about between us before!

I've not had dealings with him, but personally I wouldn't touch him with a bargepole.  It's just got timewaster written all over it.

I have to disagree a little on this one. I think people who talk about booking you while in your cam room are almost always fantasising or caught up in the moment and you'll never meet them, but the time thing doesn't scream timewaster to me. He hasn't said he wants to shag non stop, just that he doesn't want you stalling, which is icky but also something that a genuine client might come out with if he's heard about or experienced escorts who stall.
