I had a bad feeling about this one but I ended up giving him the benefit of the doubt like an idiot. Lesson learnt!
Calls himself Iain
073844230**
He sounds old, very posh and well spoken.
He seems to know the area a bit I work from in Sheffield but I get the impression he doesn't live locally.
He rang asking where I was in relation to a certain landmark. Then started asking a lot of questions about where I work, is it a house, parlour, apartment, who do I work with, do I know this girl, do I work alone... this is what raised alarm bells.
Gave him the benefit of the doubt as I said I'd need to check my availability and I'd know in 5-10mins and he called back to see if I could fit him in, so I gave him a chance.
I text him with an exact address of where to get the taxi to drop him off. 12:30 comes, no call. I call him and he says he's just getting dropped off at a shop which is nearby but not on my road nor is it where the taxi driver would drop him had he given the address I told him to give.. then he asked me what's my address and where does he come to.
I told him to come to the landmark I'd given him and call me when he was here, I'd give him the address once I'd seen he was here and he said he understood that. A minute later he called again and said he was here and asked me for the address again.
He was nowhere to be seen. I can see the entire street where I am, I told him this and he said well what do we do now then? I said go to the landmark like I told you and he said I'm stood here in the doorway and started describing what he was wearing.
There is no doorway to stand in.
When I asked him what he could see he started stuttering then hung up. I rang him back and he said he'd never had a problem like this before and he'll be visiting the apparent nearby parlour instead.
